Seismic Charges

Had a discussion in another thread on this but I wanted to bring it to your attention- perhaps it was an oversight: The Type7 Transport is a LARGE ship but it has 4 size #1 hard points on it and the Seismic charges are size #2 is this an oversight, the charges are a new way of deep core mining and that leaves a whole lot of "Current Configure" ships out of the game as far as that goes.
Can you issue a size #1 charge or at the very least reconsider the hard points on one the largest ships you have- I know the description even says to NOT try to make it for battle but that is not what we are talking about we are talking about mining.

Thanks for your time and consideration in advance of any decision. (y)

Core mining is best done in a maneuverable ship, but I do think players should have a choice, and the lack of size diversity for seismics means we don't have a choice here.

Just remember a Type 7 Transporter is Not a Mining ship it Trade ship. So it doesn't need Medium or large hardpoints. We also have 37 ships I think. Now if you want to get a Larger ship here an idea. Go back to a Cobra MKIII. You should Mine Void Opal. One trip in a Cobra MKIII is around 51 Million Credits if you use third-party sites. 1,650,000 credits each. You can buy a Python with that. But if you are smart. You can do Two Mining trips a Cobra MkIII and max it out. Note The Cobra would have a faster speed than a type 7.

For me the Type-7 Transport are cheap ships that are not optimized for anything but trading.
So it does not have the weapon hardpoints for mining, is to high for a medium hangar and so on.

The same goes for the Type-6 and Type-9. Though a new mining ship could be a good idea (ugly, maneuverable, 2 light + 2 medium hardpoints, cargo space...)

The medium hangar thing makes little sense. Why would a trade ship give itself the disadvantage of not being able to trade at outposts? It could do so with minimal modification to the design, so why wasn’t it made that way in the first place?

This is a "Suggestion Forum" right? I am making a suggestion that the seismic charge be available in size #1(Small) so that every ship with small hardpoints can do core mining. And all of you bashing the Type 7 Transport well you are making my point- the "Large" ship that it is has 4 small hardpoints- why?- it's a Large ship! Do any other LARGE ships have just small point? - NO.
It's not like asking a question to the developers is a bad thing, ask yourself how many ships you have and WHY do you have so many? Because they don't have a mulit-purpose ship, they also don't have storage lockers for modules that would make it much easier to outfit one of the hundred or so ships you have to go do whatever.
JUST ASKING A QUESTION. CALM DOWN...

Either a class 1 seismic charge launcher, or give the poor T7 a class 2 hardpoint.
It's already the most useless ship ever to be created. Lol
I’ve got a big soft spot for the T7, it’s far from useless. It has pretty much the same optional internals as a Python and it can jump much further. Great SC handling...

I also think it looks boss! Just wish they had done away with the glass bubble and integrated the cockpit into the bulk of the ship....proper flying brick. 👍💪

It should be medium pad capable.

With Orca and Imperial Cutter.

Otherwise there is no technical reason to use these ships because I can have Python (or Kraits for more combat/exploration focus).
