Sell Glowing Sign Ad space on Fleet Carriers to reduce Upkeep

Look, I don't even own a fleet carrier.

IF I owned a fleet carrier, I would be a total sell out and stick glowing bilboards all over it to defer upkeep costs, or announce my allegiance to a particular faction.

Heck, I'd probably pay ARX to turn my floating casino into the most gawdy hive of scum and villainy possible.

What about the rest of you actual FC owners? Would you blanket your 10 Billion credit barge with Space Vegas glory?

Yup - I wondered about this too. I'm guessing there could be legal issues, or perhaps it just isn't profitable for global brands to consider it worthwhile.

That said, I could imagine a Blade Runner-esque station or planetary port covered in real World advertising (Starbucks, IKEA, Apple, DHL) - I know FDev have simulated that with in-game brands.

I'd quite like the giant Blade Runner Atari advert on my Fleet Carrier.

There would be something grimly amusing about arriving at Beagle Point only to find a fleet carrier advertising Tesco Extra and KFC.

that's already the case ingame.

there are already billboards, and i assume, the owner of all our fleetcarriers (Brewer Corporation), from which we are renting gets some money for advertising buckyball races.
otherwise upkeep might be even higher.

Not out on the deck itself, at least not on mine but inside the hangar there are. I had the friendship drive one pop up a while back, made me smile.
