Sensors rating and gimbals targeting

So has anyone tested this?

the tooltip that sensors are the standard suite of instruments for various thing and targeting.

do you have less spread from gimbals, and at what distance? With a d sensors i see gimbals spreaded at 2km, but around 1.1 the lock on one point

Also any experience accuracy in subtargets sniping?

Yes big difference.

Stick A sensors on the old girl and your gimballed lasers will stay pinned to the target and you get a much tighter spread on multicannons.

Really awesome for sub system targetting.

I used A sensors on all my ships when i was running gimballs.

In fact i wouldnt use turrets or gimballs without upgrading to A sensors because they end up being spammed all over the place and wobbling around like a drunken hobo.
