Before I retired I administered a group of 12 servers that did different tasks for one application. Once a year I shutdown the whole group for maintenance that took a minimum of 8 hours. I always prayed to the server gods that everything would come back up without issue. Sometimes the gods were angry with me and punished me by making me work overtime. Not fun!

Hey, remember that patch we did back in April to fix that thing. Neither do I, but apparently we didn't get that incorporated in the new build.
