Why all the pain..... 20 percent is nice to see on screen: However it hardly matters in the Universe of Elite. Credits will happen, and everyone if playing this game will have the ship and gear they want in time. That is the problem for most ....(TIME). 10 year plan was announced....... You dont have to Run..... You can walk.... and the view is much better. I wish people would be so critical of themselves in their own lives .... then i would only see rainbows everywhere.

I sound like a broken record, but this is broken and nobody seems to notice, unless it's just me. When the bonus applies I'm getting over 100% more sometimes. Other times I'm not being paid at all. I just killed a Corvette in a combat zone, for instance, and it said 80k up in corner but the bonds value in tab never changed at all.

This is not always the case but the whole transaction system is broken with me right now. Not complaining when it pays more than reported though .

Can I have any official response to this, please? Is this glitched?

Ye very good news so I think I will wait until after the bonus weekend ends before I start to play again as I now only play for an hour or too at the most down from well lets just say I use to log in and play for 12 hours every time I logged in now I play for an hour or too at most every week. Start fixing the bugs and maybe a lot of players that stopped playing may start to play again.

For those saying this is not working, please keep in mind that the 20% bonus is applied behind the scenes, so you will not see that displayed on the screen at all.

It might work for missions, but it did not work for the combat bonds I just turned it. I got exactly the value in my transactions tab added to my account.

Go to a combat zone and kill a corvette. I've yet to see one give me a single credit into the tab. As stated in my previous posts. Some big fish ain't paying anything at all. Only affects one in every other big ship that shows in a res site. But this is a bug nonetheless and probably isn't contributing to our status either.

Seems to only work with missions for me. I subtracted the rewards of combat bonds and bounties, but no extra credit was visible in my final balance.

What missions did you miss due to the down time Ziljan? How much in fines did you incur due the down time causing missions to fail?

Jesus on crutches, what the hell is wrong with some of you? An unexpected event happened, the servers were down for hours, and FD is saying sorry by giving a little extra coin to the people directly impacted by that downtime in the game, the people who failed missions and incurred fines due to that. So some of you have to whine about it and complain and act like spoiled little entitled prats because YOU didn't actually lose anything but you want something anyway?

I think the 20% bonus is a nice gesture from FD, people can take it or leave it - I know if I was a new player affected by the server outage - I would be running more missions over the weekend.

Like some others, I am concerned that the server went down about the time of influence tick over on Friday night, and we have not had a tick since Thursday night.

Missions are the life blood of the BGS, and I am concerned that people's efforts from Friday onwards are not going to be shown in the BGS - as when the queue get stuck pending transactions often have to be deleted to kick it into life. In that context the 20% is a nice thing - but I think I would prefer the influence changes.

FD got the galaxy back up and running now just need to get the BGS running in time for PP tick over on Thursday morning.

Well, not really. FD are not "giving a little extra coin to the people directly impacted by that downtime in the game", they're giving a little coin to the people who were able to play (in specific ways) for the rest of the weekend, whether they were affected by the downtime or not. Personally, I appreciate that they didn't have to do anything (and didn't expect anything), but the people impacted and the people who benefited are not necessarily the same.
