You didn't like my post and you felt the need to comment on it?
Yes, because you already created an entirely new thread because you had to wait a couple of minutes to connect to the servers. Me responding to it isn't somehow going to make it worse.
Yeah, it would be nice if they'd create a forum just for server status and issues as often as it is a problem. That would help to compartmentalize the posts a little better and make it easy to see if the problem is wide spread.
And they should set up a bot to send an automated reply saying 'Yes' as soon as someone has created a new thread there.

There's this. Which I can't really imagine why they bothered with. The later edit pretty much invalidated the entire thread.
Been trying to get on today (my Saturday pm) and continuously getting 'orange sidewinder' gave it a 3 hour break and same thing. My Internet connection is all good, seems to be game/server related. Seen your post and thought I had better mention it.
Suffering severe lag since Friday, with 20-30+ second delays for all transition activities (ship/STV/foot), menu selections, etc. There is an Issue Tracker about it here: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/74194 Seems to be affecting people in Australia (like me), not sure about elsewhere in the world.

Finally got on and had same sort of lags (in AU as well).
must be crabs chewing on those sea cables again.

Sent out a ticket, contacted my ISP with no results, tried everything.
Decided to try a VPN and I've been able to play with one, but stability is very questionable and I cannot join my friends with it.

Haven't had any connection problems connecting today. They must have switched it into hot air mode and attached it to a politician (it's election time so ummm yay, I guess).
Well that's good at least, I still can't open the launcher without a VPN, hoping it's resolved soon.
