Hi everyone,

Just a quick update from the team:

A server side update is scheduled to go up in the next few minutes. The update has a fix for performance issues on busy servers.

Thanks guys.

Let us know if you were experiencing problems before, and if so, has your experience got any better since the update?

Ed

Nice, thanks for letting us know. I must say, for me myself, 3.03 has been very stable and fun to play. Looking forward to more updates and gamma ;)

Shok.

Okay good to know, I thought my game crashed. I just hope that the stuttering in open play will be gone after this.

Just been playing, thought I'd give it a go as previously the game was untestable for me, due to the launch issues and subsequent reloads and ship being destroyed.

Anyhoo, as I wrote, just been playing and have had no issues whatsoever, launching issues gone, no crashes, mission issue gone, so whatever was done in the background has worked wonders for me.

great news, as above hope it fixes fps around stations/lag+stuttering in open play and the ship launching bug.

is anyone else also noticing crashing when cruising between systems, only to find upon relaunching that you're stuck inside/between the walls of the station? i've had about 5 fines and lost a ship to that more than once!

any idea when the game will be back up?

will reply back soon just hope its fixed the fps lag

I just launched from the station and it's stuttering still in SC. I doubt it's the patch that did it, but I definitely don't think it fixed the stutters. My Machine is a Beast, this must be a network issue or something :/

Edit - just did a quick flyby of ORI A 3 - If I drop speed to 30.0KM/S it is silky smooth, also smooth using the standard drive. As soon as I accelarate it's back to sstttuuutteerrr until I'm away from the planet...

I guess the patch just helped with disconnects etc in OPEN Play.

I have that inside/between wall bug all the time :(

I will only check the update later... if you can tell us if this bugs happens again it would be awesome ;)

Great, hopefully this will also fix the bad lag around busy stations that makes the Rift unplayable in open mode when near them.

Playing in Solo.... still getting frame stuttering as I approach a planet using SC. It's even more noticeable if I get an interdiction near a planet, I get huge frame loss then when trying to chase the escape vector around the screen.

2 attempts to get in, 2 CTD's on the spinning ship screen. attempt 3 coming as soon as the crash report is sent :(

Attempt 3, CTD on spinning ship again......whens 3.04 coming out? lol

Attempts 4,5,6 CTD on spinning ship screen. Not funny now.

now that's strange, if I get stuttering and I'm interdicted, the stuttering goes away. It only seems to happen when I am approaching a planet

After the server update, when I logged back in (Solo play) it had wiped the 1 mission in my transactions - it had over 5 hours left to run before the server went down so I didn't fail them. Same thing happened after beta 3.03 - it wiped all the missions i had outstanding despite the long time left to hand them in. Stuttering is still as bad as ever - running on an EVGA GTX 760 OC with4Gb memory on it.

That is due to the new high resolution of the textures and details on the planets. Its a graphical performance issue not a network issue.
