Servers down AGAIN

Given that Facebook started having issues with content time-outs at about the same time as the ED servers went belly-up (and the server failure seemed to get worse over a few minutes before total failure) it would suggest a possible DDoS against the Amazon cloud service.
Frontier's servers can't be totally down we can still use the forum....

For those wondering what we veteran pilots are going on about, look up this:

It was mind-blowingly cool back in the 80s. :)

Where is the best place to follow updates on the down time/log in issues?

Wanted to do some bounty hunting ;(

P.S. Update 3.3 is great thanks FDev

On reddit there are lots of reports over the last 24hr of Oculus downloading old versions of Oculus Software as well as Elite v2.3 - seems to be an Oculus glitch

My Windows launcher also wants to download a new copy too. The Oculus software doesn't usually need the launcher and auto-updates, that is what has happened here I think. The Oculus software has detected a new version (even though it isn't) and started to install it.

I think I have managed a couple of hours at the most since 3.3 dropped :(

I bet you anything it's got nothing to do with the distribution servers. All the master game servers - and clients - just got a heafty update that includes at least 1 x brand new mission server and it seems a new comms server, added too.

I reckon I had three months pre update without a single drop. So really? Gobsmacked if a new build takes a few days to settle down? OK. Fairy Nuff. You win.

Yeah. I thought it was a problem on my end. Can't log in, Invaid JSON, Can't sync Time Server, etc...
I didn't see any announcement on the forum where frontier is supposed to announce these things.
