Got to the menu once, but got taken into the bloody stupis tytorial, and got killed coz in VR the mouse focus keeps returning to the desktop and stopping working in the game...

Confirmed, unable to connect to the servers and when I did, immediate Mauve Adder upon starting the game.

I borrowed my wife's copy of "Coping with Disappointment." Made me feel better.

Actually I just looked it up, they have AWS servers in London too. Hmmm

AWS wouldn't have had London available when Elite launched, IIRC Ireland was the only (viable) choice until late 2016.

I've been playing ED since it came out way back. I'm more than used to this crap. Just sad that Frontier hasn't figured out how to fix this stuff at all during the whole lifespan of the game.

No, Odyssey needs to be purchased seperately. It is not included in Horizons. Afaik.

I have finished the mission, came t9o the planetary port with a "taxi" and should "deploy" now.
