Same here, the game froze, had to kill the process and haven't been able to log back in. Got the "We have logged you out of Elite: Dangerous because your account is not currently available"

Yeah i think the auth servers just exploded. They should have bought more servers.

Same here! Twice now within 5 mins. Tried closing down the launcher and the game and the launcher wouldn't respond. Finally got it up (that's what she said!) and now my ship is spinning the loading screen the length of time it took me to read everyone's post and is still spinning.... and spinning.... and spinning.... twilight zoooone

FD server support have been notified and will be looking at the problem.
At least the service status page is fine (if a little ... optimistic) ....
Well Im back on, but have been in hyperspace for roughly 9 minutes so I guess something is still not right
