Server status if offline atm, just have to wait for a while.

Launcher says. 'OFFLINE' at Server Status, in red letters. So yes. The servers will probably be back shortly.

Yep. Was scanning a star and got "data corrupted, please try again". Never got that message before. Then the game crashed in hyperspace and now I can't get back in.

There's currently a huge DDoS attack going on against several internet services. It may be connected to that.

Maybe the servers panicked when they read the news that they need to cope with the upgrade on Tuesday

Very suspicious timing anyway.
