Guys, Elite uses Amazon web servers. This isn't something frontier can fix. Even Paypal has gone down

They do indeed use Amazon. As a UK taxpayer and leftie, this makes me sad. Quite apart from the fact that the service Amazon provide for FDev is utter pants. Given that Amazon have all that cash that they don't spend in taxes, you'd think they could provide a better service.

haha, that is true but generally Amazon are reliable enough to at least be online unless something major like this happens. The how good it is when online is another issue.

There seems to be an issue with BT's name servers (DNS) there are a lot of sites that are unreachable. Nationwide problems with infinity and BT's DNS.
