So, somehow I had missed that the ability set a cap to the number of visitors allowed in the zoo at once was added to Franchise mode. I noticed it yesterday after reading a reply to me in another thread where the person implied that you could do it, and you can!
This makes a huge difference in gameplay as you can cap the visitors to a level that makes things less crowded and the result is lower complaints about thirst/hunger. For me, personally, this is a game changer....I don't really like how things look when it gets crowded. Hasn't hurt my financial state in the zoo I'm playing specifically to breed cheetahs. I've ended up slowly adding other habitats just to pass the time while the cheetahs do the thing and the profits are still good with a 1000 guest limit (so far at least).
