Settings change randomly?

Depending on the position of the earth moon and quantum fluctuations your settings either do or do not stay set. One moment the deadzones of your joystick and the center dot on your screen are set, the next they're gone. It's mildly annoying at the moment. It will become really annoying if I ever have to quickly rejoin a battle after a crashing PS4 broke the connection and I have to reset my settings before mopping up the remainder of my wing.

This seems to happen randomly.
When the center dot on the screen is gone after logging in so are some other settings.

I can't put my finger on when exactly this happens. It's thursday today. Maybe that caused todays issue? Thargoids hacking my account?

Don't know if this applies, but I've found that my hotas and I'd assume the ds4 if I used it as the principle controler must stay plugged in to the device at all times. And that if both are plugged in, the choice as to which is the controler can not change. If both are plugged in, using the ds4 for me in anyway shape or form, except as a connection for my headsets. Will mess up the in game controler settings. Thus I've located on the back of my tv an audio port and now use it rather than the ds4. And haven't had an issue sense.
