Settlement Defence Plans

Yeah, so that bug is still around, just severity varies:

I finally found my original posting.

A few posts down from that one, someone replied that they fixed the issue by deleting the file: GPUworktable.xml

Scroll down through the link I posted above to find the details in that thread.

While I no longer have buried settlements, the Irregular markers are still a mess.

I also had one half-buried settlement last week, but relog was enough to bring it out. And interesting, at one Minor Wreckage with two skimmers, one of them was deeper in the ground, data port screen not visible, but still the point was there (only tricky to catch the right angle) and possible to download data.
And also interesting, I had no luck with Bootleg Liquor missions, but found enough skimmers with Surface recovery missions - for landmines, hostages, nerve agents, even ceramic composites during war, civil war, civil unrest, and expansion.

Yeah, this is the way I farmed my SDPs after reading post 55 by texasp8 in this thread. I think I found 'Wartime surface recovery of [something]' most regularly, once you 've picked a system in the right states they pop up all the time.

Update:
  • Raised maximum prices of Fleet Carrier items.
    • Further reading: Instead of the maximum price the Fleet Carrier owner can set being 10x the galactic mean price (i.e. the slider goes up to 1000%), they can now set it to 100x the galactic mean price (i.e. 10,000%). This will now apply to all three markets on the Carrier.
The decision was made to do this in consideration that some things are rare but have a relatively low price; this means that Commanders will now be able to sell them at a price that is worthwhile for the effort they went to, to acquire them.

And they laughed at us when we farmed SDPs!

That could be pretty substantial, as it can pave the way for some kind of player economics?

Maybe, after all, a good reason to invest in a carrier?

If only they would let us sell our own engieniered modules! dreams

Update: 2nd layer of RNG.

After having wasted another hour of gaming time on looking for the right place, I finally managed to find a station offering 2 bootleg liquor missions.
None of them spawned the right kind of wreckage though, so back to the station.
2 more bootleg missions. Wrong kind of POIs again.
Back to the station once again. Bootleg liquor missions dried up.

Keep the faith. Rome was not built in a day.

And some may go on sale post U16.

LOL I've already given up. This is mind numbingly boring. Idk which one is worse, this hopeless RNG hunting or the relogging crapfest that comes after it. :)

I get the feeling SDP will flood the carrier markets soon if not already did that
What's the max price they can be set now? Can anyone refresh my memory?

In the great scheme of tings, not too expensive. I've just put 4 up for sale (among some other bits and pieces).

I'm just trying to figure out why there needs to be a max price alt all and that a CMDR can't just put stuff up for whatever they want.

It's really gratifying to know I put all my data up for sale - to help people out - and two days later FDEV drops a patch that increases the amount I could charge so I could've made some decent (not gouging) money for my trouble.

I swear, it feels like they are just out to screw me over..

Sidenote: I still haven't tested to see if Scorpion SRVs still induce mad aggro on Thargoid scouts (while Scarabs are totally stealthed). No one ever reported that on the Issue Tracker - because the Issue Tracker is garbage - but if I see the problem still persists after testing, I guess that will be the next windmill I charge...

sigh Starfield can't come soon enough...

That always happens, I bought new cosmetics for one of my cmdrs a couple of days before the last sale.
Ground bullion for a month in FO76 before it rained out of the sky in the Mothman event.
Given Starfield is a Bethesda product the expectation is an unplayable buggy mess till new year at the most optimistic, given MS have had their hands on it I'd put it at a year before it's really playable.
