Settlement NPCs randomly frozen: please upvote issue!

Since the Frontier Issue Tracker is apparently a popularity contest (if only it worked that way at my software company!), please help me upvote this long-standing bug with NPCs being frozen at Odyssey on-foot settlements:

I have listed all of the previous issues by number (can't link to the tickets, because of course you can't, what do you think this is, the late 20th century?) Note that this issue has been around since Alpha! All of the previous tickets have expired, even though if you combine them they'd meet the threshold for a confirmed bug.

I’d suggest adding to the already Confirmed and Acknowledged issue report:
…with your information about it being all on-foot scenarios.

Added my observation and upvoted on the established issue. Have to remember, they even limit the number of times you can vote for different issues and provide no indication of how many you have nor when they reset.

The issue tracker is essentially a troll of their players.

You can vote for six issues at a time (the FAQ says four but if I try to vote for a seventh report I get a warning that I can only have six active) and if you look on My Issues / Voted it should show you how many you have available, though surprise surprise it sometimes gets it wrong 😅

Filter by Acknowledged and you’ve got about 12 pages to flick through to see your voted-for reports.

Ancient issue unfortunately.

At least if they are frozen you can kill them.

How about the bug when they spawn underneath the terrain? That's a good one. Makes finishing the missions/CZs impossible.

Right, so I guess I still scratch my head a little because is that forever? Like if that issue remains acknowledged and isn't acted on does that tie up a vote till they fix it or delete it? It's just a bizarre system all around.

NVM, I haven't scrolled down that far before I guess. The answer is, hilariously, "yes". If you vote to get something noticed and they refuse to do anything with it, that vote is tied up there.

I could have sworn all you needed to do was click on the vote button again to get it back if you needed it.

As aRJay says, click the section underneath the popularity pyramid to revoke your vote for that report and free up one of your six 👍

Right, but you are pilfering one issue and downvoting it to upvote another. They give no indication of anything they are working on so removing votes from old checkmarked issues could be moving it down the priority list. If they indicated that something was in the pipeline to be fixed already then that wouldn't be so bad, but they dont.

For bad or worse it is the system we have for now, so the only thing you can do is vote for the six you find most important at the time.

When it happens I can kill them easily and quickly and then loot what I am in the area, either loots or data.
I don't care if they dont move because of a bug. Moving or not, I would not let a single one be alive by the time I leave the settlement.
Changes nothing.
