Several "Yellow Adder" Connection Errors In A Row

Probably should have paid more attention to the subject lines like this earlier but this is the first time I've ever experienced a "connection error" in several months. I have to assume this is due to the thousands and thousands of people playing on multiple platforms at the same time, right?

Or did someone forget to feed the hamster again?

I did discover the other night that if I get Orange Sidewinder while attempting to leave my FC (a regular occurrence), then restarting the game seems to resolve (while restarting from menu doesn't). I wonder if it's because restarting the game can connect you to a new server.

And once I start getting Orange Sidewinder, it doesn't go away until I do restart...

I had to restart my PC to get a connection to work - in now

Finally got back in. Closed out everything including Steam and started from there. Back in (tried turning it off and turning it back on again)…..

Yeah, I'm sitting watching the server connection failcount roll into double figures right now.

It'll keep doing it if you just sit waiting to reconnect.

Quit to the launcher and start again. You'll connect first time.

@Crank Larson has the right advice, as in the same thing works for me too. If I get the orange bleeders, it's quicker to just reacclimatise yourself with the desktop wallpaper and start again.

Yes, this matches my experience. In some cases I have to task-kill the game, because it's hung up somewhere inside (even though it appears to run, and I can fly around, exit to menu, re-enter and fly some more).

Once you get the Orange Sidewinder, a complete restart is necessary or you'll just keep getting it.

For some reason Portforwarding doesn't work well for me anymore.
Turned it off, and I'm getting way less disconnects.
