I'm feeling a bit less safe in my new "open plan" ship...

Yep, the lighting is broken. The adder is 2spooky4me because the engines sound ghostlike, and when you turn your back to the light your cockpit starts to occasionally flash very brightly. The light goes right through the ship.

It's the shadow of the ship. The whole ship is transparent to lighting for some reason. I have the same problem.

Same here. Not an issue for me anymore. I changed to the Cobra now. But what's really scary: My pilot's shadow does not have a head! I think this is only visible in the Adder. Never noticed it in any other ship.

Dude, I thought that was just my imagination! I didn't notice it in other ships, and the Hauler whispers what I could have sworn was a conversation, but I dismissed it as my brain filling in the spaces.

So maybe I'm not craz...wait. Yes I am.

noticed that too. maybe its the prototype stealth drive, just not functioning fully just yet.

on a related note, noticed how the adders cockpit seems empty when you look at it in the outfitting? think that little ship needs a tad more TLC. ticket the issue(s) if you haven't already

The pilot doesn't actually have a head. If you use the Rift you can stand up in the cockpit and look at the player model... He's without a head

Hah, awesome, guys.
I never noticed that, though. Shadow of my Adder always looked normal. Maybe it is related to a certain light sources' setup, or more probably a graphic card.
