I received a message from the Shamash system an hour ago , i have scanned all the beacon and they talk about new threat ( not xeno)

I found the image by doing spectral analysis on the sound files. The possible connection to message 8 was pointed out in the Halloween Event thread in the news section.

I think we need to wait for whatever goes down tomorrow for the continuation. Consider this as… the setup.

My personal suspicion is that this is going to go somewhere toward the Thargoid story arc, at least in part because of message 10 in the recovered logs.

Yeah. Some kind of mind control, apparently, and they would be the obvious suspects. Although it could be something completely different, too. "Kill them for me" sounds like some kind of revenge.

It seems to be the Halloween event.
Aparently it has to do with the Thetis generational megaship 5th audio log

On the log they mention that the signal that drove everyone insane came from a planet 15ly away, assuming the megaship came from Sol, Shamash is a possible candidate.
