I wanted to suggest if we can have a ship AI with a hologram display that moves and talks and changes color dpending in the circumstances. Also maybe even help you automatically with certain things when in trouble if you upgrade it. I would say starting with the federation since they like robotics and AI compare to the Empire who prefers clones.
