Ship interiors and new ships.

We have a huge galaxy to travel. We already have a huge number of activities that everyone has forgotten about. The game already has everything you need to play it.
But literally every activity is made like garbage. For some reason, it does not bother anyone that we have a huge number of stations for trade, there are carriers of players that can set fixed prices, but the economy in game is fixed and directly harms all aspects of the game.

We can fight for certain factions in such a way that we can change the course of history and defeat other factions. But the economy and the single player mode of the game destroys this activity.
We can collect a huge amount of resources in many different ways, but we can't produce anything from them, and the economy in the game is still dead.
We have enough ships that are completely unbalanced for online play, so some expensive ships can be inferior to cheap ones in everything.
We have a lot of weapons, but because of the bad balance of ships and engineers, we all use the same thing.
We have a huge galaxy for which there is no reason to explore, due to a dead economy and useless resources that we can extract.

But for some reason everyone is interested in new ships, ship interiors and other garbage that will not affect the fact that the game is dying. What is the point of giving the ability to walk around the ship if nothing can be done inside the ship (this applies to all Odyssey content)?
Wake up, we can’t even make support ships for team play, for a bunch of years, in a game about ships and space travel! We have been given the opportunity to repair an ally’s hull, restore his shields, but all this is useless if as a result I can’t replenish my ally’s ammo right in battle! No matter how hard I try, we will fly to the station to replenish ammunition.

We still can't interact with players in space in any way.
In more than a year of playing, I met one single person who did not have enough fuel to jump, and I ♂️filled the tank♂️ to this man. He ran out of fuel because he hit an allied ship while shooting at a Thargoid and was sent to prison when he wanted to fix the ship.
Don't even need to talk about the unbalanced improvements that the engineers provide. These improvements destroyed the game through armor, and rendered ship classification useless.
We no longer have merchant ships, warships or passenger ships. We have a box with a certain number of slots that either fit everything you need or not (no harm to the jump).
I killed all the targoids on orca, and explored on t7 with a jump of 50+ years.

With every update since the release of Odyssey, the one-of-a-kind online game has gotten worse and worse.
(OMG, yes, it happened before the Odyssey. Thanks geniuses. But how does this justify the fact that all forces are thrown on an odyssey when the existing activities do not work?)

Correct me where I'm wrong.

Sorry for the google translation, I'm not an english man.

Very few of the things you mention above have changed since long before Odyssey was released, though. And I don't see how the post-Odyssey updates have made most of them worse (they've barely changed them at all, for the most part)
  • The commodities economy has always been just a way to make money; the one commodity - Tritium - with independent value to players outside one-off unlocks gets repeated complaints about not being reliably available from NPCs in deep space.
  • Ship and weapon balance has always been pretty terrible; the FDL was the meta combat ship long before Engineers; the Python outclassed most dedicated medium combat ships for quite a while. Engineering certainly made things a lot worse, but that's been the case for 7 years now.
  • Interaction between players and tools to do so (especially cooperatively) was noticeably absent from any of Frontier's release plans, DDF documents, Kickstarter videos, etc. For the first 18 months after the original release staying instanced with people in your own wing on supercruise entry/exit failed more often than not. The basic multiplayer concept that there might be 5 of you in a group wasn't acknowledged at all in-game until about four years in.
  • Lack of reason to explore beyond "to see what's there" has been a common complaint since the beginning too. Of course, there are outside-bubble sites of use - Guardian, Thargoid, Crystal Shards - but as they're permanent and infinitely reusable there's a lot less actual exploration involved now that someone else has found them.
Of course, all of those things, having been the case for a decade, are now so much part of the game that changing them might end up getting more complaints than leaving them be.

This only aggravates the opinion about the game, and does not justify all the mistakes.

The main complaint is the introduction of meaningless updates and fixing them (which Odysseus is the personification of) instead of fixing what is already in the game.

Fixed economy means no player exploits. We can't fixed people mentality from the need to cheat, which breaks game immersion for everyone, once it happens. But at least we can limit it.

About resources. When you find an rock filled with iron in real word - do you go " I am going to go craft my self some new spoons and fork when i get home" ? No, you walk over the rock and keep going. What you suggestion is an immersion breaker. We are space ship pilots/ ground mercenaries, not a walking 3D printers.

Game combat balance - is a problem in all MMO's. No matter how old MMO's get, they still do balance patches. Can't achieve equilibrium.

A lot of other things you suggest would be a huge immersion breakers, specially fixing ships in combat. Damaged ship should go to a space dock for repairs, or mobile repair ships, often called Auxilieries in Space Novels.

I have such an opportunity.

That is, if in other games the balance is corrected for a long time, in order to get a product as close as possible to a balanced one as a result, is this the same as making unbalanced garbage that directly harms the game, and leaving it as it is?

I didn't suggest anything that would change the game in any way. We can already repair ships with drones, and we already have laser upgrades that allow us to repair shields. The fact is that they are useless if the player is in any case forced to replenish the ammunition with which he shoots, regardless of the integrity of the ship. You can repair the ship and replenish the supply at the station, then what's the point in supporting if the player is limited only by ammunition?

This fixed economy, on the contrary, creates stable exploits for players, just like a live one. Only additionally deprives a huge amount of content.

economy in game is fixed
No it's not. It's dynamic. If you sell a lot of a commodity to a station then demand will reduce and so will the price.
But the economy and the single player mode of the game destroys this activity.
There is no single player mode.
we all use the same thing.
No we don't. In fact you contradict yourself later on on this point.
the game is dying
No it's not.
In more than a year of playing, I met one single person who did not have enough fuel to jump
We if you want to do more of this then join the fuel rats.
I killed all the targoids on orca, and explored on t7 with a jump of 50+ years.
This is a good thing and also contradicts your earlier point about us all using the same ships.

No it's not. It's dynamic. If you sell a lot of a commodity to a station then demand will reduce and so will the price.
And what will it affect if everything rolls back to the initial state?
There is no single player mode.
One of the main reasons
No it's not.
When the number of players in the game falls, and the developer transfers updates that in themselves do not add anything significant, while splitting the already meager online into 2 versions of the game in the hope of forcibly earning money - this means that the game is dying, there are enough examples of this. The question is when will it stop suffering, and will the game be saved...
This is a good thing and also contradicts your earlier point about us all using the same ships.
It was about weapons, but in open, for all the time I saw a few people who would fly on something unusual, in addition to meta pvp / pve ships and the big three.
How this contradicts my statements is not clear.
We if you want to do more of this then join the fuel rats.
This is the problem, why should I reinvent the wheel if the game already provides for more activities than is implemented?

Everything I wrote about is already in the game, just not brought to a working state.

The game needs alot of work in all areas. Mission payouts, a more dynamic economy model, powerplay needs work, multiplayer isn't very good since combat logging and solo play exist.

I'd especially like new ships or for them to work on ship identities. I mean, a Type-6 has less cargo space as a dedicated cargo ship than a freaking Python. The python has the most cargo space, better hardpoints and internals. It outclasses almost every other ship because it can do everything better. Why isn't the Type-7 a Medium pad ship? Annoying.

We already have a huge number of activities that everyone has forgotten about
Nope many of us are actually doing them.
For some reason, it does not bother anyone that we have a huge number of stations for trade
Its a big bubble with billions of people 🤷‍♂️

We have enough ships that are completely unbalanced for online play
Its not a PvP game so no need for balance
We have a lot of weapons, but because of the bad balance of ships and engineers, we all use the same thing.
See above

Some of us like solo mode and dont need to interact with other players, thus avoiding griefers and muppets

Cool then no meta to moan about, "Play your own way" 😉

In your opinion, for me and many others it gets better and better

Its not a PvP game so no need for balance
When I show a better result in killing targoids on a passenger ship than on a t10 created for these battles, this needs balancing.
The balance in pvp is very conditional. You need to understand that you won at the moment when you assembled a ship created to kill those who did not collect a ship for pvp, and lost at the same moment to another person who assembled a ship to destroy your ship.

I'm very happy for you. But how does it relate to the topic?
Cool then no meta to maon about, "Play your own way"
No, it's not cool when the specialization of ships is violated. This divides the ships into the best in everything, and almost useless in everything.
In your opinion, for me and many others it gets better and better
I agree, for a single player, everything is done well.

Like i said its not a PvP game, Fdev wont balance ships, engineering or modules around a game mode not core to the game.
Not that there is any true PvP in Open anyway its more gank boats vs traders, that's never going to be balanced.
