I totally agree with this and for sure my AspX is my favoured explorer but the cockpit is the reason* I have resisted any temptation to buy an ultra-wide monitor.

I have said it before but I still think it is something to keep in mind.

When choosing a ship that you are going to be flying for long periods, such as exploration, pick one where you like the cockpit view, sound and the ships handling. Enjoying what you are doing is more important than having the ultimate performance.

This becomes crucial of you want to play (roleplay even) with a single ship ownership method (multi-task builds). I'm not actually liking the engine sounds from my new Krait Phantom (sort of odd aquatic sounds (better suited to the Dolphin imho!)) vs my previous Asp X (soft farts?) and was wondering if we have any way to adjust the sounds of our ships via the files stored on the PC?

@ AEBRAM, i also love the Asp and that connection started back in Frontier (Elite II) where it took a while to get, but was worth the effort to have that perfect 'Millennium Falcon' type ship in Elite It was a little 'easy' to get in EDH, but such a nice ship to fly around in, I could end up back in another AspX in truth.
