Horizons Ship Seat Count

With Muticrew coming out, it may be useful to have a thread with all of the ships seat counts that people can refer back to. I am art work so I cant start going into classified camera and check, if anyone could post their best guess when looking into their ships, I think this will be useful for planning for the expansion.

Here is hoping that we get a special treat of moving around ships in 2.3 or at least 2.4 as well ;)

Hmmm couple of differences there with my list Chris, why do you say Beluga and Cutter have 4? I've flown the Beluga and it defintely had 3 seats. Not flown the Cutter and TBH I can't remember my sources now (for the ships I've owned it is sitting in the cockpit in VR :))

Well, I may be wrong, of course, but I am almost sure that both Cutter and Beluga have two seats in the front and two on the sides, whereas Conda and Vette have central pilot chair and one seat on either side. (Conda might as well have actually 5 seats, though.)

3 is the maximum on all large ships. Am wondering if they will increase to 4 with the Panther Clipper.

They also removed the 3rd seat on the Cutter for some reason, the display console at the back is still there.

Wait, what? Well, to be honest, it's been months since I looked behind me in a Cutter, but weren't there two seats on either side.

Damn, I have to check, now. :D

As for the Panther, you know what would be cool? If she actually NEEDED two pilots to operate. :)

That would be awesome :) The Cutter originally had two forward seats and a single side facing seat at the back left of the bridge, the seat vanished a few updates back.

I haven't played the game since the last mini patch, it is possible that they put the seat back in.

Hmm, maybe they are going for simple two people per ship.

Did the 3rd seat in the Cutter disappear when they switched the seat model from standard to fancy Imperial? If so, they probably just didn't add it in for whatever reason (missed it, likely)

Some of these ships have considerable habitable area that isn't the bridge, so I would no be surprised if the larger ships accommodate a full wing, irrespective of the bridge seat count.

Maybe once we get space legs. But in 2.3 it will be just people appearing in your cockpit, I believe.

This is my thought as well. I am hoping that when we get space legs (hopefully 2.4 to bring Horizons home with a bang) we can explore and invest money into our ship and actually fit as many people as we install bunks for into the ship.

Getting the shooter aspect of Elite in with actual station raids, and some derelict ship/station exploration will be amaaazing.

I may never stop playing once that is in.

Rumor has it that the Anaconda does have 4 seats, If I remember right there was supposed to be a 4th in the nose that was used for docking.

Super excited for this update. Can't wait to get people into my ship :D

Since you are limited to number of seats for multi crew, does that mean the keelback cannot have a 2nd crew member even though it has a fighter bay and that is a listed position for multicrew

That is a good question asked at a wrong place. Go ask devs. :D
