Ship skins for Xbox One

afcourse i hope sooner.

But every single comment form Mod's and Dev's are pulled in the negative lately, this made these forums the toxic waste of the commodity market. You should have seen it how it was during the GGP, best community ever! It still is, but i witness it doing down.

And i hate to see hard working dev's, and voluntary Mod's not getting the respect, and appreciation they deserve. I've bin a mod once, and i can assure you, its mostly NOT fun to do.

However, i have to admit, last days, mod, and Dev feedback on these forums was a bit, low.. But then again, if i get all the heat of a unhappy, respectless community, i wouldn't post here either..

We are not all like that.. Dont say that. Only a few rotten potatoes...

#Triggered?

C'mon now.

I haven't watched the streams, not because I was busy posting onto here but because I don't watch streams often? If I do it's mostly small streams as I always wonder why the big streams even bother having a chat. Point is don't call me a rotten potato.

There was a reason to why Ians comment went of as negative, it was yet another thing we couldn't even influence just passivly watch through some glass.

I still stand by most of my statments on the issue. I still think it's bull that we don't have the option to influence what's going to happen with the Barnacles and meta alloys in the slightest.

Lol..

Error, you long past a rotten potato, in fact, we like you the way you are, you are the forum, you know that right.. Now stop being so insecure.. there is no need..

Feels like the larger concern is putting a competing product on Xbox around the same time that No Man's Sky drops for Playstation.

Lame.
It just looks like a bad acid trip, maybe a good game but I can't handle the colours, feels like my retinas will burn out and my head would explode after doing a marathon session

Right? I'm not saying there's a good reason for them to think that they have to compete with it.

What I'm saying is that they've got the meta-critic vibe and some blasted Market researcher with their hand so far up FD's rear side that US, the actual players of this game are ALSO getting screwed.

Does anyone else ever feel like we're all a version of Pavlov's dogs?
If Gary had used the word "soon" we'd all be barking like something gone demented

I didn't think my message was that ambiguous, but I guess I need to be more careful about what I post. Horizons is definitely coming to Xbox, that's always been our messaging and that hasn't changed.

But instead he's given us a reassuring tinkle on his bell and we're all salivating like good little doggies. Lol

Well I was feeling pretty chuffed with myself but now you've made me realise I didn't even get my belly rubbed. (=

First time I brought a DBX I looked at it in outfitting and said "Nope" and just went and brought something else instead.

I still hate the colour, but I do admire the ship now.

Have they ever even addressed why paint jobs and custom huds still haven't come to Xbox? I haven't seen anything.

Feels like a RAM issue to me.

That kind of stuff has to be loaded 100% by every player in the game and my guess is that RAM is hard to come by with all the other things that has to go through it as well.

Kinda like.. adding armor to Halo Reach back in the day... it's much more than adding a file, it's something the game needs to actually load and render for every player on every match.

The ''Soon(tm)'' matrix isn't ready yet. It will be soon though. After that Soon(tm).exe needs to start up and we all know how long that takes.

So...soon then?

But I really can't see any of the paintjobs taking up any more space than the default skins already take up. Just a coding swap really. Honestly I think it's FD trying to get Microsoft to take a smaller cut.

I agree, though I don't think his comments went negative, he got some pretty strong replies sure but I think everyone involved (including myself) were just giving our points of view on the issue, some of the comments were quite robust but none were abusive.

Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with some of the posts I have seen today that have confirmed that Horizon's is definitely coming to XB1 (I don't watch the streams either), along with the other much wanted features list but FD did drop the ball on both the XB1 and MAC community by excluding them from certain parts of the events.

Not sure I like the idea of being branded a Rotten Potato for giving my opinions in the game developers forums, I mean that's what the forums are for right?

The Xbox one forums was at it's prime during GPP, haven't seen so many players engage in civilised and mature conversations since my time in the Legends: 007 forums.

Players going out of their way to help eachother was another trait which I rarely see in gaming communities, but recently I've also seen the forums going somewhat downhill from what it used to be. More complaining, disrespect towards mods and just a toxic attitude all together.

Alright, full discloser, I'm at best an armchair programmer... which is to say I know nothing about programming. I only somewhat understand excuses I've read from other games. That said, here we go:

I don't think this is a coding "swap" for two reasons..

1.) You would then have to load your UI color and paintjob from the main menu, instead of doing it in game.

2.) These things would also have to load on the client side of every possible player you are playing with so that they render correctly. NOT doing this means only YOU would get to see that cool paintjob, ect ect.

Make sense?

I wouldn't say that, there was a lot of jealousy with horizons and a want till be included, which lead to people getting frustrated. With the new information getting put out, I think that will ease some people's fears that we are being left out. Now the bit about the forums beginning to be toxic, I would disagree, take a trip to Destiny forums, I feel like I need a decontamination shower from all the toxic filth there.

Comparing the Destiny forums to the Frontier Forums is like comparing a Subaru 360 to a Lamborghini Aventador.

Regarding my complaints or something completely different?
