Shortening travel time during passenger exploit

Well I've tried mode switch, total log out, and pulling network cable to force 'matchmaking server' error.

I was always the same distance as I was before. This is going to Searfoss in the Haiden system though, so maybe it's specific to your location?

You are doing it in supercruise.
I am talking about a loading screen when you are jumping from a system to a system.

Just tried it.

Killed the task while in Hyperspace (jump between systems) while jumping to Alpha Centauri - on next start of the game I'm 380,455 ls from entry point and 0.21 ly from Hutton orbital.

Looks like the game places the player after a "crash" at a very save place in the destination system.

Wasn't able to exit the game while hyper jumping in the normal way (menu log out).

Doing things like that to get a meaningless credits faster is something I don't understand.
(now jumping out and will do the Hutton Run the way it was meant)

Hmm - well it is an exploit in my book.

I don't consider board hopping an exploit, just a necessary action because the game mechanics don't provide enough missions.

Same as for example killing a game. Its an action for gaining additional profits in-game (i not did it, my game crashed).
Hopping through menu is using a way of access to the game, and mechaninc not connected with a gameplay, to gain unintended profits.

Its and exploit by an exploit definition in IT system.

I forced a crash whilst jumping to Haiden system.

Instead of being 560,000Ls from Searfoss, it put me 795,000Ls, so clearly a waste of time in this system!

I think it will depend on particular "system centre of mass" placement.

Anyway, if you think it makes game too easy - don't do it. Whatever other people think its their own matter - it does not affect you.

In a case of exploited LTT 9360 it is 1 800 000 with 30c or 1 300 000 ls with 1400c.
As i wrote, i is some weithg center of star system. It may cause travel shorten or longer.

it will affect, economy is affecting everyone. There is no motor other than simple 'curiousity', to do other things in game for a profit, because of relogging exploits.
Trade, mining, combat, have no any other point than 'lets check how it look'. If someone need in-game money, then most efficient way is relogo.

Its sad, because it would be better to play a game and make in-game money, instead of 30 minutes relogo and 15 minutes of flying.
Now doing a money in 'right way', i can do 12 mln/hour in the cutter.
If i will use relogo, i can do up to 500 mln/hour, without even my presence behind a screen.

OP

Its really making game bad, over and over

so its bad for you.

So, who will be the first to break 500mln/hour bareer?

yet here you promote it.

IMO it seems your post is clearly about your dislike
off reclogging and the so called passenger mission exploits.
my system could not duplicate your results.
So how about some video proof. No video, didn't happen.
The video will help the devs also.

Keeping that things in the wardrobe will not help.
Things like this should be public, and when it reach critical mass, then maybe it will be fixed.

I have no time for making a video, i described how it work as detailed as it is possible. Even some person did it in other system and confirmed.

How to replicate:
1. Fly to Upsilon Aquari
2. Jump to LTT 9360
3. Close a game during jump. In my case a game just crashed. Few times in a row.

What "critical mass"? I earn money maybe bit faster than that - but its not really your business? On the other hand, I don't care how and how fast you earn your money, or anyone else at that matter and how they play their game. It does not affect me nor them in the slightest.

Unless you can't sleep at night knowing that I, some random person on the internet, achieved Elite in 1.5 days.

Try it yourself. Best way to prove or disprove something.

No need for a video. The steps needed to recreate this are simple and easy to follow. Jump to a system and while in the hyperspace tunnel kill the game. On re-log the game will place you at a distance from the normal entry point (that place seems to vary from system to system).

30 times* faster. A bit. [yesnod]

no proof, didn't happen.

Then grind money 30 times* slower [noob]

* than playing in non-relogo-exploit way

Have you tried it?

did try, going to LTT 9360. The change was minimal if any at all. sorry but I didn't notice a 500,000 LS change in distance.

I pull Carl Sagan here again “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.”

During my testing of this claim on my way to Semeaton Orbital, I got bored so I ran a utility (system mechanic) on my system memory to defrag its contents.
To my joyous surprise my mission rewards had somehow doubled for each mission. Who's up to a 1,000,000,000/hr challenge.
Believe me it's true and you can do it to.

I confirm this bug. Just end tasked during hyper, relogged on and was at 1,300,000 and acceleration up to 1,200.

Have you tried it?

I did try it at Alpha Centauri. Killing the game at hyper jump gets the player placed somewhere in the system and not at standard entry point. Didn't try it at the system the OP mentioned - not that much interested in the whole thing.

If you want prove for that "500 Mcr/h" claim, then - yes, more evidence needs to be presented. (And even then I don't really care about it)

There are people on Facebook claiming to be earning 50mil per mission and stacking 20 of these missions in an unknown system (they wont say, fear of the nerf), The missions are all passenger and i wonder if they are using this exploit because thay are boasting that the missions have a 10 minute turn around.

If true thats a new record for Cheat: Dangerous.
