Should void opal and LTD mining be more dangerous?

Had a little fun with this last night.

1) The NPC pirates for some reason will stop to pick up dumped limpets, and not bother me.

2) The NPC pirates ignore you in the cold core of an asteroid.

3) If you drop one piece of valuable cargo before they scan you, one NPC will pick it up, then the other pirates will attack the one that scooped it up.

Now that's funny...

:D Well if it's been nerfed and you can troll NPC pirates, I think it's about time I gave it a go. I've got a miner around here somewhere, a quick trip to Jameson for the new shinies...

Vanilla Keelback, low sec target system, what could possibly go wrong?

I never mounted more than 1 and made good money from it so it won't affect me.

To be fair, it is the way I did it for the first 2 cutter loads, I even mined in the cutter, till a mate told me "each gun counts as a frag". sure enough with a bit of testing the cutter was dumped on its ungainly (but very sexy ) in favour of the ASP X. I did make back to back billions 2 days running. Also lost 2 and a half billion to:- one, a white dwarf and two, the un-dock glitch insta kill, which very kind man from the ticket office gave me half a billion back. At least now we can mine in any ship and the score is even. We can go class or trash. I'll do it for a while longer, but I think I'm getting close to my fill of mining. Shame they fixed it so soon though, I was looking at buying extra stuff from the shop for the ships I had on other accounts, but no need now. Sorry Fdev, you missed out:(
