Now that we have the SCO frame shift drive, a lot of people are probably going to throw away their standard drives, or let them rot in the shed or personal junkyard.
I really think FDEV should take some responsibility here and allow us to recycle engineered modules.
Let us take old modules back to an engineer for recycling, recovering some of our valuable (and probably toxic) materials. How about giving an engineer some money to properly recycle modules, and we get back a random amount of (maybe) 50-80% (or 30-50%, or whatever) of the invested engineering materials, and the base module is gone (donated to the engineer).
Okay, take my my idea with some humor. But I really like it. And it could be worth a nice Galnet article if this gets implemented.
