Yeah.. the rig is standing on the floor behind the desk... water cooled.

The case looks like this one.

What an odd looking case. Where are your drive bays? Personally, I went with a Thermaltake Level 10 which is slightly odd looking as well, but more in a beefy bulky way:

Wish I had a camera to take a pic of the desk though :/

To OP. Since you have Logitech g510s, have you tried this option, ARX Control SDK ?

He doesn't have a 910 though (which is what you linked, and what has the ARX control thing), at least not in the picture he took. That's a G510, same as I run, just look at the 3 columns of macros, logi went stupid and only put 1 column on the 910 again.

Yes, in the picture it looks more like G510 than G510s (check his op). ARX should work with any Logitech ...quote from site: "Arx Control is available on Android and iOS on tablets and smartphones, and works on any system with Logitech Gaming Software installed" ...

It could be a 510s, that's pretty much the same thing. As far as I know though, and as far as I've seen, the 910 is the only one with that flip-out bay to accommodate a mobile device for the ARX thing. The 510 and 510s already have small LCD screens attached at the top. ARX might be compatible with any G-device, but the 910 is the only one that holds it like that, otherwise you'd just be leaning your phone or tablet against something :)

What's a drive bay?

(my recently built Mini-ATX case has no optical drive bay)

Guess you wouldn't necessarily need one an a Mini-ATX build, I only build full towers, so I still load up a few optical drivers (blue-ray burners ect).

I don't mind leaning tablet against some kind of tabled holder ...put some kind of menu keys on tablet and voila, Star Trek thingy :) ...haven't tried yet, will maybe do it on weekend, who knows, maybe I get something usefull of it :)

I'm too scared to post a pic.
I'm terrible at keeping my desk clean ... (no really I am!)
Same here. Have not seen the surface of my desk for months now.

Dual screen 27" 120hz with 3D shutter glass support and a basic 19" 60hz for extended desktop.
AMD FX 6350 Six core processor 3.90 Ghz
ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer Motherboard
8gb Ram (will be upgrading soon to 64Gb)
Geforce GTX 750 Ti 2gb
5 HDD - 128Gb SSD, 500gb Sata 2, 1Tb Sata 2, 2Tb Sata2 , 3Gb Sata 3
Dead Silence DS 200 case with 1Kw PSU.

Playing with ultra graphics setting with 109 fps

Once I upgrade to 64gb Ram, I may set aside 32Gb as a ramdisk and play the game from that to see if it runs better.

I also have the Nvidia 3D shutter glasses but don't use them for gaming as they give me a headache after using them too long.
Pity, they are absolutely awesome on some games though, especially WoT where you feel like you can reach into the screen and pick up the tank when you see it in the garage.

Never use HOTAS or anything other than mouse/keyboard but have got Voice Attack to allow me to use voice commands in place of some keys.

Being a left hander means I can never find a HOTAS for a left handed person anyway. I may buy a second hand one some time, strip it down and make my own. Being a computer engineer and programmer, I am quite capable.

Damn.... I didn't even know that existed...

Anyone here know of anyone running an Arx Control setup in Elite?

Well, I pretty much play Elite solely on my TV, with a 360 controller.... so it's nothing unique or impressive. Fun and simple, though :)

Some of you got some pretty cool set ups. Its always interesting to see how different folks play Elite.

There are a lot less empty coffee cups, ashtrays, ash, notepads, pens, various bits of paper with random things that I can't even remember what they're for, loose change, lighters and teddy bears on any of these pictures than there are on my desk.

My humble setup, first venture into PC gaming

On discovering that Elite Shoulder is a real thing and I was missing football, a few minor changes have been added....

Sweet thread :)

I was curious to all those who are using dual monitors, with game on one and windows (browser, etc in the other) int he other.. does this cause you lag issues? I have tried to use extended desktops and it seems when I do this my framerates drops (not just in Elite..but any game)

I run a GTX 780 so shouldn't be having that problem.

I have the exact same GPU. And I do run the game (borderless windows) on 1 monitor, while my firefox, voiceattack, OBS.. is sitting on the other monitor.
No framerate issues though.
