Show Us Your Setup

Heya. I've not really been active on the forum here, but I saw this thread and figured I would show you my system.
It's been a bit of a project building it, but I'm really happy with the end result.
new-system.jpg

This was my first attempt at building custom water cooling, and I've never worked with rigid tubing, so it was quite a challenging build. I ended up messing up quite a few tubes and had to put in another order to get the system done. I feel it was worth it however. I really like how the end results look.

System specs:
CPU: Intel i7 6700K running at 4.5GHz
RAM: 32GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 (only white DDR4 I could find)
Graphics: Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury with EKWB full-cover waterblock
Storage: Samsung 950 PRO NVMe 512GB (System drive + Elite) - Samsung 850 EVO 1TB (Steam / game drive) - Samsung Spinpoint 2.5" 2TB HDD (for mass storage)
PSU: Corsair RM1000i with CableMod custom white sleeved cables.
Case: Fractal Design Define R5
Display: 1 x Dell UltraSharp U2410 + 2 x Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP for a total of 5760x1200
Peripherals: Func KB-460 mechanical keyboard (mx blue), Razer Taipan mouse, Saitek X52 flight controllers (looks much more "Elite" than the pro).

And here's the view from the cockpit:
elite-eyefinity.jpg

That photo was taken before my new system was finished, so the 3x.x fps showing there isn't correct for my current system. I'm usually stuck on 60 fps.

Right. Enough already. I hope you all have an excellent evening and a wonderful 2016.

CMDR Rebecca out.

See you space cowboy...

I built my system I'd say 3 years ago, and it's still going strong. Not planning to upgrade anytime soon!

Sorry, no picture at this time:

Motherboard: Gigabyte G1 Sniper 3
CPU: Intel i7 3770K Overclocked to 4.7GHz (Closed Loop watercooler)
RAM: G-Skill Sniper DDR3 1866MHz 16GB
HDD: Intel (forgot model) 250GB SSD x2, RAID 0 array
Backup HDD (Data Storage): Run-of-the-mill 2TB Western Digital
PSU: Rosewill Lightning 1200Watt
Case: Cooler Master Storm Trooper
GPU: R9 290X Reference Design x2 in CrossfireX Mode
Sound Card: Creative ZxR Sound Card
Audio #1: 320Watt Sound Bar (TV)
Audio #2: Astro A50s
Audio #3 (Preferred) Audio Technica ATH-A900X Audiophile Studio Headphones (sound quality on these is... superb. And the surround simulation from the sound card sounds awesome!)
Gamepad: Xbox 360 Wireless Gamepad for PC
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate mechanical keyboard
Mouse: Logitech G502 Proteus core (newer, previously had the Kone XTD, which broke, and previously had the Cyborg RAT7)
Monitor #1: AOC Q2963PM Ultra Wide 2560x1080 21:9 (love the field of view!) IPS monitor.
Currently Playing on: Samsug 65" HDTV 1920x1080 (I play with either Virtual Super Resolution at 3200x1800 or Supersampling 1.5X) VSS offers better performance and better image quality.

In-Game settings:
Ultra

Additional settings:
Texture size modified to 8192 (default is 2560 on Ultra).
All quality settings changed to 3 (some Ultra settings stay at two with the in-game options even on Ultra)
SweetFX

Performance: With Vsync on, 60FPS across the board. Occassional FPS drop to around 45FPS in Supercruise due to the well known bug.

My triple 1090P 39" TV setup.

Work in progress of my setup. Sooo much still needs to get done, like configuring the MFD tablet graphics (using Roccat), configuring the console buttons, buttons, and more buttons! Also setting up Voice Attack. Lastly, I still need to light-up more control panels and tablets and even automate the entry door. ug! Anyway, here are some pics...Go to Photobucket and explore the library, if you want to see more.

Warthog throttle and stick, MFG pedals, and lots of custom controls.

I'll repost, when I figure out how to put the pics directly here.

That's a real neat case, I really like how tidy the watercooling is...

This is my setup, took some pictures with the side panel off etc as it needed abit of a clean.

Specs are:

Intel Core I7 4790K @ Stock
MSI Z97 Gaming 5
16Gb Corsair 2400Mhz
Gigabyte GTX780Ti SLI
Samsung 840 Evo 500Gb
Corsair H100i
Corsair 1KW PSU with Corsair Sleeved Cables
Corsair AF + SP Fans
Corsair Air 540

Asus PB287Q 4K Monitor
Creavtive Labs Fatal1ty Headset
Blue Snowball Mic
Saitek Rhino Hotas
Corsair K90 Keyboard

Notepad for any reason I need one.

So to be correct, the Corsair H100i has four fans? I have the Corsair H110i gt, and have two fans, but the air flow isn't the best. Have any temps of idle and under high load for that CPU cooler?

These are the important bits... Don't recall the others...

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz
ASUS GTX 960 StriX
16GB RAM DDR3 2400MHz
ASUS Z97-P Motherboard

If it's the same as the H100 (which it more than likely is), you can set all of the H100 range in push-pull configuration. One side to pull cold air into the radiator, the other side to push hot air out of it.

Thanks for the excuse to clean up the computer room! This system was designed for professional digital photography plus Photoshop audio/video production and works great with ED. Also have a third monitor but didn't like the distortion and prefer a desktop on one to support the game.

I just bought a Thrustmaster T-Flight X HOTAS and it's excellent. Only cost me £23.81 via the Flubit website, a site where you copy and paste an Amazon UK URL and they beat the price. It was £27.99 on Amazon UK and I got 15% off :D

I'm partway through building my VR machine, just got a meaty GPU to get and I'm all set for VR gaming goodness. I'm going to wait for the Polaris and Pascal GPUs to get released before I get a new GPU and will get my Rift in November.

My VR machine consists of the following:

Intel i7 6700K at Stock Speed
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler
Asus Maximus Ranger VIII Motherboard
16GB HyperX Fury Black DDR4 (2 x 8GB)
InWin GROne Gunmetal Gray Case
EVGA 850W G2 Power Supply
120GB Samsung SSD

I'm using the iGPU in the Skylake until I can get my monster GPU, I've been VERY impressed with it so far - it can run Horizons at 720p with high quality textures and shadows at 30-35fps on planet surfaces.

Needs more buttons ;)

Seriously, though, wow! Either you are not married or you have a very understanding wife :) Surprised no-one else has commented, perhaps because you didn't embed the images. And I've always been curious about those MFDs so good to see them in action (must look on YT), might get some of those myself as they seem reasonably priced.

I'll repost, when I figure out how to put the pics directly here.

Just wrap
around the URL of your image.

Thank you so much! I' e been playing a few hours, and made some small improvements but otherwise the seat is pretty much finished.

Do you think eventually you would adapt your rig to something like the Simpit Icarus Avenger curved screen? I can see your build and that screen system being quite the compliment!
