With some pics of the chair I built for Elite Dangerous
Sorry about the mess, been too busy playing.

The first pic is before I got around to putting the pedal "rest" on. I also made an adapter so I can play driving sims using a standard steering wheel.

Like the homebuilt setup, is that a car seat you have on there?

On a side note I run a AMD R9 280 and seem to get hickups and slowdown at times in ring systems, I would have figured that would be enough of a video card.

Yep, went and got it from the salvage yard. It is the passenger seat for a neon ;). It is in good shape and wider then racing seats so it fits me better while still looking semi sporty. I tried a more sporty racing seat but the were too narrow and not built with women in mind.

This is summer if plan on painting the pic an aged copper ... Think steampunk flight sim.

Thought I would finally post my setup its an unfinished project (as most simpits are) so excuse the mess - no specs on the pc its way to out of date to warrant mentioning but still manages to play ok

Left hand controls.... modified steering wheel for pedals and throttle setup with a razor orbweaver for macros and a hat for thrusters and a Zboard fang both the controllers are fully programable so any button can be any regular keyboard key or a macro doing anything.

Here is the joystick (logitech wingman 3d exteme) and the main KB Joystick sits on what is my mouse pad for other games.

I also have on my headset a trackir style setup for opentrack and I have voice activation software as well - however with the kids being kids and the wife screaming at her games 2 mtrs away that is not so practical

Here's my setup, for left handed use.

Very tidy, and good choice of radio station :D

This is my fairly humble set up;

The top monitor is an LG ultra-wide 25" (2560x1080), and the bottom is some old 17" that I use for browsing while playing. For playing I use the Madcatz FLY5 and an EDTracker on the top of my Sennheiser headset.

Not as impressive as most of you guys, but it gets me by :)

Oh and for those perceptive guys amongst you, yes! my desk is infact in my closet! It's also a standing desk so when closed you wouldn't know it was there at all.

Some really awesome setups!

...but aren't you guys afraid of the possible consequences?
One of those elaborate command chairs and an oculus rift on top...

Think about it:

DSC_8760.jpg This my home setup. Runs on two custom builts. The top three 30 inchers run of an I7-5930@4.5ghz with 16gb of ram and three gtx 970's.
The instrument panel monitors run of an I5-3570 at 4.3ghz with 8gb of ram and two gtx 680's. Bit of a mess right now as I have not finished
making an enclosure for it.

You make my set-up seem a bit cheap now...
