Tonight I went to see Generation Ship Lycaon in the Alaunus system...spooky!
Unfortunately, revisiting the Trappist system showed that my first finder's bonus must have been a glitch as I was not listed on any of the planets (Jackie Silver was heavily represented though)

Thanks Cmdr...it's good to get her back out of the docks. Tonight I took her out to see the Generation Ship Venusian. Unfortunately the lighting out there isn't great (and I keep forgetting to turn my camera widgets off:

Tonight I hung out at the Pleiades Sector OI-T C3-7 A 6 barnacles hoping to meet the flower people...Cmdr JJ Smashing Pumpkins was there (and another Cmdr whose name I forgot...apologies). Unfortunately the flowers ships didn't show...maybe tomorrow night.

Tonight I took the sidey out to the scene of the Thargoid attack on Federation vessels...well, where the Federation vessels were massacred. Very spooky!
Also hung out with an old friend...Cmdr Olfart turned up wanting to see the alien goo/fire...nice to see you again Cmdr.

Thanks Chief...my adventuring has been mostly around the bubble these past few months. I am considering going on Macros Black's circumnavigation adventure (but probably not in the sidey this time).

Went on a tour of the "space pumpkins" tonight, out at Mahon Research Base (HIP 18077). Unfortunately they were on the dark side of the planet, but the sky was gorgeous so it wasn't a total bust!

I gave the Grass Hopper II a grade 5 FSD upgrade...got her up to 27LY max jump.
What do you think is possible for a Sidey?? I would like to try it if I can get her up into the 30s.

without a srv ofc... i don't think you can get a sidey above 30 ly with a srv, even if you go for a couple on hundred of rolls.
just screw a wheel on each corner
but you should get to ~31Ly max range with a mining laser and even Plasma Slug instead
