Newcomer / Intro Sidewinder upgrade error?

I recently tried to upgrade my Sidewinder by selling my Basic Discovery Scanner and buying a 2T cargo rack. Upon completion of the transaction my total cargo capacity dropped to 2T. I have no listing for my 4T cargo rack. I ended up selling my 2T cargo rack and buying a 4T cargo rack. Now I am back to where I started minus a BDS, an internal slot to put a BDS back on (if I were to chose to), and it cost me several thousand CR. What did I do wrong?

Without being able to see exactly what you did it is difficult to tell. If there were no transaction error it does sound like you managed to sell the 4t one but that would be difficult to do without realising unless you had been at the space beers (I will admit I have done some very silly things when less than sober). All I can suggest is opening a ticket using the link at the top of the support forum and see what FD's logs say. It is possible the transaction bugged out.

Sounds like after selling your DiscoScanner you had the 4t rack selected and then, instead of buying a 2t rack for the BDS slot, replaced the 4t rack with a 2t rack.

Thanks for the input! I was sober at the time ;). I have eleven slots available in the "internal" section of my Sidewinder. Is this correct? If so then I just must have made an error swapping out equipment. Right now I have 4T cargo rack and fuel scoop.

Think I figured it out. I must have inadvertently replaced my 4T cargo rack with the fuel scoop. Then I sold my BDS and bought the 2T cargo rack. Funny, that I do not recall getting money for the 4T cargo rack. I feel like such a noob! :p So just to confirm....the Sidewinder has a total of 11 slots in the "internal" section?
