General / Off-Topic Signature warning... Anyone point out my error?

So got a warning my signature is breaking the forum rules. I'd already reduced it down to two lines to meet the requirements, but seemingly something is still amiss?

Anyone able to point out my error/oversight?

Ta.

external links?

Ummm, i don't see anything about external links? Confused!

note: My image is smaller than 650x90.

Code:
Maximum image file size limit limited to 250KB.
Maximum allowed images per user signature is one.
Animated images (eg: gif image) are not allowed.
Maximum width of an image is 650 pixels.
Maximum height of an image is 150 pixels.
Maximum allowed lines of normal sized text per signature is five.
If text lines are added to a sig they cannot be made larger than the default size.
Lines are not allowed to wrap else they count as additional lines
If an image is added to a signature, and the image is up to 650x150, maximum lines permitted is zero
If an image is added to a signature, and the image is up to 650x120, maximum lines permitted is one
If an image is added to a signature, and the image is up to 650x90, maximum lines permitted is two
If NO image is added to a signature, maximum lines of text permitted is five.
Quote, code, and/or special bbcode that consumes lines of text, count as two lines each.
Links do not count as special bbcodes but must adhere to the links rules
Empty lines of text count as a line / additional line to a signature.

You have three lines of text, you should only have two.

How have I got three lines? Is something wrapping for you?

I see this for example (two lines?)...

It seems daft to impose excessive rules on sig's.

Why not just configure the forum software to block what they don't want. Disable the ability to make text bold or bigger, if that's what they don't like.

I've deleted my sig. I wasn't even using images in mine. I will sign off in the message from now on.

AHA! So it's a forum/browser issue? What browser you using?

I noticed your sig has small text... Does that look small to you? How have you done that?

I use Chrome - I don't have any other, or I'd check it out in those too. You can change the size of text by using the 'Sizes' drop down box in the Edit signature option.

That's exactly what I've done.

But I'd also changed the font to Arial too! Maybe that's the issue!

HOW DOES IT LOOK FOR YOU NOW? Fixed?

Sorry, nope.. :(

Sometimes I think the forum software does odd things. I've saw my line of text at different sizes, even though I've done nothing to alter it. my base size is set at 0. Which has always worked for me in the past. I tried it set at 1 and it looked normal sized.. :? no idea why or how. PM a Mod and ask for advice?

Bizarre!

How have you reduced your text down?

So does this appear big or small for you?:-

That appears to be normal sized font, I still see that part as two lines.

EDIT:

What screen resolution are you using? I'm on 1080p

I'm using 1200p, 1080p and lower res monitors, across three different computers. My sig looks fine on all of them. I don't see how resolution would affect the font size working or not.

Your signature has small text in it. I assume you are seeing it as small? What is different about my CODE and yours then? :(

Hopefully you'll suss it out, but failing that, you could remove the text, and edit your image to include the text and whatever size you like, within image size rules of course. An alpha layer around the actual image, with the text under it would make it look like the text wasn't part of the image?

OK... Using your approach, how's this?
