Some systems can have dozens of Fleet Carriers which make it tedious to scroll through when you need to navigate to your FC. The secondary idea "favorites" would basically be any destination you could "favorite" or "bookmark" and that destination would be filed under a new filter called "favorites" and be allowed to display even if the normal filter for it is disabled. For example, I favorite Station A, Settlement B, and my own FC. Then under "filters" I select "favorites" and now the only things in the navigation panel would be Station A, Settlement B, and my FC.
Simple fix for a tedious issue - Add an "owned FC" or maybe a favorites filter for navigation

I think you're misunderstanding what I mean. I'm talking about the navigation panel on the left hand side of your cockpit, not the galaxy map
Same, simple enough QOL,
- always show bookmarks
- OR, always show your FC
Or BOTH
First is important to be filtered, because of it was bookmarked.
Second is essential, because of it's the player's property.
