Sirius permit need to be triggered?

Hey guys, doing the Sirius permit for the first time. I have 40 modular terminals, and I am full bar allied with Sirius, and have been to multiple systems they are in and stations they own, but I am not seeing any permit missions. Couple hours of this so far and no dice. Anything I am doing wrong or just bad luck? Currently I am sitting in Procyon at Davy station (which Sirius owns).

While this won't help much, I got allied to Sirius Corp last night selling exploration data, and got my permit when I started playing today (afternoon time), also at Davy Dock, so it is working, it seems it may just take a bit of time...

Don't be a pillock mate, if you've achieved the qualifying criteria for a permit you really shouldn't have to be flying round a bunch of bases repeatedly just because the RNG won't actually put the permit mission you have earned on the mission board. That's not some sense of entitlement or wish for instant gratification, it's the absolute basics of the game recognising that you have already done the required things.

Its been a while, but it's random, and fairly hard to get. I did the same thing, flew around, re-logged, flew some more.. Took a few days. WHY ? I have no idea. Was a major pain in my back side.

Patience is the only thing I can suggest. The only thing I can offer is condolences. Same thing happened to me and MANY many others.

Got my permit straightaway but read enough on this subject to know something is not right so I was wary when I was handing over exploration data to get allied.

The best advice I'd seen on this was to change station and try getting it to pop up elsewhere. This seemed to fix a lot of people.

Not sure how many promotions you had the qualifications for but didn't get it the day you completed the required tasks. Such is life, just because you dotted your i's and crossed your t's doesn't mean there should be someone standing next to you ready to hug you and hand you an achievement award. The missions don't pop up the second you're eligible, ED has been this way since the beginning.

TLDR; Those offended shouldn't be so easily offended... "pretend" can be just as hard as "Reality".

Just so we're clear about this I'm not offended. I just think that you're an idiot.

Not offended by your comment's content, more like its existence and others like it. It is literally better if you fade off into silence than bloat every thread you don't have a constructive reply for with some editorial drivel comment. And again, not looking for an instant hug. Flew round and round in circles for hours. This is a GAME, once requirements are met I should not be wasting my limited play time trying to finish something I have already done the work for.

A few more hours and relogs and the permit finally popped, and yeah it is absolutely stupid that I spent 50% of my night doing that AFTER already spent the entire day doing the actual requirements.

I got mine in the Luyten's Star system. Try checking the mission board from outposts rather than the big stations. For some reason Outposts tend to spawn both the Sirius permit mission and the Marco Qwent invite mission.

No offence here dude. Just think you're a bit of a plonker :) [up]

[h=3]I got both the permit and Marko mission in the Sirius system a few days ago, O'Brien Vision finally dropped the engineer invite.[/h]
There were player groups trying to damage Sirius Corporation then, what state is the faction in right now? I had to wait for the system to come out of Lockdown before they offered any missions whatsoever.

You need only 24 Modular Terminals for Marko, so I would sell a couple on each visit between Patterson and O'Brien, Procyon was no help at all in my quest.[h=3][/h]

Thanks man, yeah it did finally come through it just took quite a long time. No lockdown states though or anything were in effect, I was getting missions fine just not the invite. And yeah I knew I had extra Modular Terminals, but figured I'd hold em in case I ran into someone that might need them today. If not I'll just sell em when I swap to my bounty ship.

25. You need 25 Modular Terminals.

Trust me. I counted them. Each. And. Every. One.

Twice.
