@oldsfno, good to know, I will add that detail on the water and Jester.
In regards to SpongeBob the ride, well there isn't any spongbob props in the game, so it will have to go back to the SimEx Pirates. [pirate]
Also, the Ozarka Splash was apparently dried out, replaced with rockets on a track, and called the "PLUMMET OF DEATH". I think I'll keep the Ozarka Splash.
@brothalee94, I'll see how close I can get the Mega Zeph's overall hill shape without changing the height.
----------------------------------------
The park is coming along, I would say I have about 75% of it complete. I still have lots to do in the Superheroes Adventures area, as well as the entire Looney Tunes area.
----------------------------------------
The Pontchartrain Beach is now complete. I modified a bunch of xtraordinar's carnival games to fill the penny arcade, as well as making my own. I do have to say his designs look great, but I think he can be a lot more efficient with blocking out large areas.
----------------------------------------
The Gotham City Hall stage show took a lot of time to build, but I think the end result looks good enough. Since the guests have no reason to really enter the area, there is a bathroom tucked into the grey tower. I really wish the game had ways to drive guests to a non-ride area, such as "Eating area" or "Entertainment Area"
----------------------------------------
I just completed Batman the Ride.
Fun fact, this exact same coaster is now The Goliath at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. Which means it is the one coaster in the park I have actually ridden in real life.Check out this Google Maps link to see it in 3D.
How I re-create my areas and coasters can be seen a bit in this image. If you notice below the coaster is some lightly painted terrain. What I do is overlay a satellite image over my Planet Coaster screen. Then, working through the overlayed image, I align any existing paths until the two images are close enough together. Then I use the terrain tool to paint in the path the coaster follows. I also block out any buildings surrounding the coaster. The result is a fairly accurate guide I can then follow when I make the coaster and related queue.
In the case of this coaster, it doesn't actually live there anymore. So I use Google Earth Pro to view an image from 2006. Then using Google Maps 3D, I look at the coaster in Fiesta Texas. That way I can reference the relative heights of each part of the coaster. I just follow the path I painted on the ground as I go. Finally I confirm everything with POV videos. The end result is very close to the real thing.
