As someone with multiple accounts and multiples of the big 3 on each account, the credit booms have done nothing to bore me or make me stop playing. Indeed, it would be more like they are keep me playing and buying from the store.
Personal choice, is just that; a choice. If you don't like something don't do it. Likewise, if the game bores you; Leave.
FDev have a juggling act for sure. But at the end of the day, shop sales keep them in business, not pyjama dads.

That or they will put a spawn timer on them, at least at the smaller bases. Small bases = fewer skimmers.
Seems pretty obvious that they're going to do something because the income from this puts the pre-nerf long-range passenger missions to shame and we all know how that's ended up.
I'm scared we'll see a stop-gap server-side fix to hold over until a proper pass can be made. Prepare for 10k per mission. X(

The most crazy i have seen in the last time was a newbie Corvette. I thought even through the rank up mission with the feds you should earn more cambat rank?
I just hope, that they don't come to Forum again for complaining that they can't get her through the mailslot -.-'

I earned my ships legit but that doesn't make me a good or considerate pilot. I'd take 'P' plates.

Ye do know these missions can be completed without actually going to the base right? They can be completed without getting within 10km of it which makes the mission itself even more hilarious. Takes a wee bit longer but works...every...single...time...and theres even some loot to be had...win win ^

Data deliveries are better fer rank grind as they can be done in an unarmed small ship which means harmless cutters and vettes...possibly an explorer who cant be bothered with combat at all. The way some talk about that, they seem to think of that as an exploit...so sad its almost a tragedy.
Fix it, dont fix it...whatever...something else will come along in due time and ye can all moan about that instead. A not overly productive use of time...moaning about something that wastes time and wasting more time moaning about it...games not broken, players are and blaming the game instead of looking in the mirror fer the problem ^

I had a go at this other day just to see what the fuss was about and discovered it was ridiculously easy. So easy it was dull. Are they supposed to be like that?
Depends which base you go to, I'll be doing a vid later showing the two high sec bases I use. If you are lucky (or unlucky?) enough to have bases near you with no security that make this trivial, then bully for you (or bad luck?)
I enjoyed the challenge of figuring out how to assault two differnt types of high sec base so that I could farm their tasty skimmers.

As for the exploit angle, it does seem excessively lucrative which has never bothered me. Except that the amount of cash people have led to this ridiculous version of bartering we must engage in to access the Engineers.

Not to suggest that Noobs don't fast track to big ships using exploits or generous sponsors, but as an owner of multiple accounts and many big ships, I can categorically state that it's possible to get to Rear Admiral and/or Duke with a combat rating of mostly harmless. After two years of game play my highest combat rating with my main account is still only Expert, and I sincerely wish it wasn't. I never want to reach Elite in combat. I'm not interested in combat except for defence. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone.

Haha Me too but anyone still in the slot when I'm coming through with my hull tanked Cutter deserves to be squished. Having said that, if you stick to the greens and hug the wall chances are you'll survive.

And they would have stuck around for the normal grind? If someone wants to do this exploit they either have an idea of what they want to do once they get their big ships or they are just gonna quit anyways.
