Alright, this is going to be a bit of a link dump, but these will tell you everything you need to know about the AE update for Skyrim Special Edition on Thursday.
First of all, let's get the really important info out of the way, with the FAQ:
elderscrolls.bethesda.net
And here's the articles to see some information on the new content. FWIW, Bethesda have said there are two Creations still not yet revealed.

There you go.
Also, if you have heard any speak of rumours of mods breaking, I have this information from SarthesArai, the modder behind such mods as ESO and Legends Imports:
This was posted earlier today on the Official Bethesda Discord by him. The Cartogriffi he refers to is one of Bethesda's CM's. It is far from a case of "all mods are about to break", for those who might have heard such.
EDIT: Also, the upgrade will include all Creations already available, as well as all the alternative armours which are not featured in the links above.

Also, if you have heard any speak of rumours of mods breaking, I have this information from SarthesArai, the modder behind such mods as ESO and Legends Imports:
Most mods will work fine with the update, only SKSE and dependent mods will stop working
SKSE-dependent mods without a custom .dll will continue to work once SKSE is updated, which "shouldn't take too long" according to Cartogriffi
