Slavery?

Hi,
In the system I want to gain control and improve from anarchy, the only missions possible now are slave transport. I would like to be again slavery in my system. Could I do anything? Other missions or change the government?

It depends. It may be that you can do a lot of missions for a different faction and maybe then they could take control if you help them win a war for control of the system.

The problem you have is that an anarchy faction is rarely in control of a system without a group of other players supporting it. In that case, I don't think you will be able to change this as anything you do, they will work against you to prevent the anarchy faction from losing control.

Improve from Anarchy? These systems offer far more for the player than any of the powers, and at least in an Anarchy controlled system there is no 'High Security' label to lull you into a false sense of security :)

Have you never 'accidentally' (or even deliberately) incurred a bounty and sought out Interstellar factors to pay it off rather than being shipped to a Prison Colony in the middle of nowhere? THe benfits of an Anarchy system far outweigh the convention.

You may get the impression that I favour Anarchies, so am a little biased :D

OP your post don't make much sense. Do you want slavery or get rid of it? If you want to get rid of it then do missions for another faction that has slaves as illegal.

Pick a faction you like and support them.
If you support them enough they will take over the system control.
Then you can support other factions to take every facility away from the Anarchy until the have nothing left.
Trust me, switching an anarchy to a nice Corporate was the first BGS manipulation I ever did.
It will take a lot of work, and quite some time, but its doable. As long as there is noone working to keep the Anarchy in charge

If you are interested in details you should probably post in the BGS subforum

It is a game. Slavery is just a label for a commodity to make a profit with. The game doesn't care what a player trades in. If it bothers a player call it trading in strawberry ice cream with better profits than others. If one emotionally wants to free the slaves then Frontier hasn't added that to the game yet. It could be an interesting battle between the Federation and the Empire. Note that Asling Duval doesn't deal in slaves. Other Empire systems not so much.

Slavery - It Gets Things Done.

Why not? I want in some way to make slavery illegal in my system, it used to be anarchy, but it will be co-operative with some my effort soon. My question if in BGS is it possible?

Always possible, but how difficult it'll be will depend on what the population of the system is and if any players are working against you.

The system is: Economy: Colony
Sells only: Slaves, Biowaste and Hydrogen Fuel.
Do you think if I will bring by my transporters plenty machinery and building stuff (which is in high demand here), this outpost will improve? Or population will increase fro 48110?

Who controls the outpost?
If its the Anarchy faction, then trading there will strengten them.
If the population is 48810, then it will be a bit difficulty. The Anarchy ownes both stations in that system.
Population is static btw, does only change when FD says so.

Is Zemlia the system you mean?
Would be my guess as well. In that case OP missed his target my pushing the Coop to 50% without triggering a a war.
Now you will have to go for a coup or paddle back to equalize.
Or first win the war for the corporate and then go for a coup

It's almost as if OP wanted the background simulation to act as a simulation of a background for his commander story.

Dont think we're ready for that kind of concept shift.

In the long run yes, but you will have to force a war to flip it to another faction. That will depend on the percentage the controlling faction has compared to the faction you want to flip it to.

Now... As much as I'm wanting to head on over there and cause as much trouble for the OP as possible so the system stays an anarchy, I think flipping the system could be a good lesson for them for why you shouldn't.

1. You will lose the interstellar factors. This is a very useful facility for redeeming bounties or clearing you own should you do any illegal missions.

2. Slavery is the only profitable commodity in this system. Turn the system lawful, you're hauling biowaste to make a profit.

3. Anarchy nav beacons are a useful source of materials. Blow up anything and scoop up the bits. No system security to bother you.

Are we talking "Slaves" or "Imperial Slaves" here? Just wander.
Just checked. It's a typical colony system that produces nothing other than fuel and biowaste, there's no supply of slaves.

Problem is that the only significantly profitable goods to sell in the system are Imperial slaves and personal weapons. Both of which may be illegal once the system is flipped.

From role-playing point of view, doesn't want to trade slaves, It could be biowaste, doesn't matter - but not slaves. I know there is limitation in my case, but at the moment I have fun playing with BGS and see how my play affect this small virtual world. Want to see here, far away for other gamers and big civilisations - some kind of democracy. Haha.

Is Zemlia the system you mean?

Nearby, how did you found?
