Newcomer / Intro Small glitch using horizontal thrusters that move you left and right on screen

The horizontal thrusters sometimes do not work for me when docking. The fix is to pause and then resume the game and then they work just fine. It could be my system but I guess I won't need to use them much now because I am gonna be using docking computers so just thought I should mention this issue before I forget.

Anyone else noticed this?

Check your key bindings, there is a section for override controls when docking and if that is turned on but not fully bound it may explain your issue.

Yeah, you can have the controls different for when you are landing than when you are flying out in space. That is the most likely explanation to your predicament.

What kind of input device are you using? On my X52, I found that sometimes some actions (most notably energy management) just wouldn't work until I pressed some other input. So far I can't really tell how to reliably reproduce the problem though, it just happens, and if it happens it's only once per game session.
