Newcomer / Intro Small UI problems

I have been playing for half a day, and have been enjoying it massively, but now suddenly when I press '1' or '4' to get to the different UI:s, it doesn't automatically focus on that screen, but I will have to turn by hand... Which setting has caused this? I would like to press 1 or 4 and have the respective screen focused immediately.

Other than that, enjoying the game massively!

Check you control bindings, sometime a patch can reset them or screw them up.

It could be you have mouse look toggled on?

Hi gus , check options / controls and check nothing has changed in the key allocation . Hit esc key to get to the options screen.

Might be the UI focus mode button. Think it is bound to your left shift and toggles by default, might be causing the problem.

hmm, I cannot find the correct setting - however there seems to be quite a few of them that could affect this:

Mouse controls
  Mouse headlook                    
  
Mode Switches
  UI focus mode                    
  UI focus                            

Headlook mode:
  Headlook default state        
  Headlook mode                     
  Reset headlook

I feel I have tried very many combinations here, and not found the one for me... It seens ít never wants focus on the UI when I press 1 or 4 for the screens on the left and right.
I would really appreciate it if anyone who has this correct for a mouse + keyboard setup could post their values for those fields...

Mine are set to:

Mouse headlook - ON
UI Focus Mode - Hold
UI Focus - Left shift

Headlook default state - Off
Headlook mode - Accumulate
Reset headlook - wasn't mapped but I set it to Right Ctrl + numpad 4 when messing about with facetracknoir

Also check in the graphic options that Disable UI camera lock on is OFF
