Smaller treasures of Planet Coaster

Could the easter eggs be sound related? The seagulls from RCt3 sound a lot like the ones for the Whirly Rig. So much so that I originally thought that I had litter on a nearby path until I realized that was in RCT3 and it was just coming from the Whirly Rig. [tongue]

I also feel like I've heard classic RCT crowd noises and the Lion roar/circus sounds from RCT3 but I don't remember where I heard it.

Well if the Devs are reading this here's more, cause I'd sit with you for a day and rave about how awesome the game is if I had the chance.

Last night I was out and daydreaming thinking about a possible coaster design with it's theme and whatever, and it was so satisfying when I realised "I can actually faithfully create that in Planet Coaster!"

Love when the ride ops wave as you leave the station. I also like how guests and test dummies jolt forward when they hit a sudden brake, or when a raft bumps into another at a station.

I wouldn't want to spoil someone else's eggs, so yes, talking about audio related indeed : )

We re-recorded almost all of the crowd voices for PC except for elements on some of the most distant layers, so perhaps, maybe, there might be something in those that is similar : )

And just another thing... I played just then, and the sci-fi instrumental 'The Cosmic Balance' has the first four or five notes of the 'Luke' theme from Star Wars... that's audio related!

That's right!
I think there are a lot of instrumentals in the game, that sound like other songs. :D
As example:
Have you noticed, that the instrumental "Lord Coasters March" sounds like the "Hedwig's Theme" in pirate style?[weird]

When I first heard this tune, I really geeked out as I love Luke's Theme . And I really appreciate these little nods the devs are putting into this gorg-fest we call Planet Coater.

This made me laugh today, so I had to add captions. I'd forgotten I'd put that sign on the wall until I saw the bin-diver.

[squeeeeee] hehehehe

As usual, you made my day with that, LOL.com

Thanks :). Maybe we should start a thread of captionized comical screenshots?

Anyway, it does appear that peeps at least go through the motions of reading signs. Note the family in the background about to board the coaster. They all look like they're reading the sign, whether they can comprehend it or not :) Which itself is another little treasure.

At wdw last week I had a sense of unreality. People were not walking through scenery! It was quite disquieting, especially when I tried to get past people by walking through a rubbish bin...
Not sure what you are talking about??? I was just there and saw quite the opposite.

I love to wander around my parks in 1st person view of a guest. Often I see things I want to fix or add, but mostly just because it's pretty. Really crowded parts are hard to view that way, though lol

Agree! You just reminded me to make a suggestion on the request forums about this.

I love this function as well because like you said, you see things you won't see from other camera perspectives. And it's pure joy to walk around your park looking at all the (beautifull) stuff you created :D
More then once i founf myself just staring at the screen for several minutes to see how my park operated from a guest perspective :D

I was just playing around and i kept hearing some whistling, im pretty sure it's the mechanic who's doing it and after a while the melody sounded familiar ... And then it struck me!!
He's whistling part of the "The Ballad of Tentifu" tune [big grin]

(please tell me if this one one of the easter eggs you mentioned?! i'm on a hunt for them :D )
