Clicking 20x on the same button gets old fast though...
It would be nice if they could let you queue up all the rolls needed for where you want to go and hit the button once, letting it run until it gets there or mats run out.

Can we please please PLEEEEEASE have the material traders located AT the engineer bases??? They say they care about quality of life, about not wasting our time....PLEAAASSE put the at the bases where we would need them. There is no reason not to - it is just plain cruel.
If you can get your head around the preconception that you are not supposed to run around with full g5 modules, it's brilliant
Since you can only pin one, that's not much use. Which is why pinning the chain for an effect for a module would make much more sense, also during material collection. You realize you can engineer pinned recipes at the material trader right? The only reason you need to go to an engineer is to pin recipes or get an experimental effect, and you can add these at any point for any module, with no need to return to the engineer after.

Some people say we're not supposed to eat animals either. I say, if we're not, then why are they made of meat?

To me, there's nothing wrong with working on your upgrades, pushing everything you have to its full potential - but it isn't a requirement by any means. It does give some goals to work towards, and that's a good thing.
I just think some adjusting is in order. I do like the new system, absolutely. I'm not that keen on how many upgrades it takes, or the sheer amount of materials used. I'm not afraid of doing some work, as long as it feels meaningful. Trading or scrounging up enough materials for "one more upgrade", especially when they're particularly rare materials, or worse - common or standard materials with terrible spawn rates (CIF anyone?), or only found in one type of signal source, on Wednesdays, when the primary and tertiary stars are aligned and the planets are in retrograde, and the nearest trader offering these is 30 jumps away... that's when my skin gets crawly.
As a long term reward. Just like hotels in Monopoly. You may want to have a whole lot of them after a few turns, but it doesnt happen. Even though they exist.
Btw, you are also made of meat...![]()
Yup, I can now do fairly rapidly what I never came close to in years. Still stuff that needs polishing but the general progress is surprisingly fast.
