So cheating is already in use in CQC

Snarfbuckle has it right, hackers are after a combat and money making advantage. Reset their saves so they don't gain from hacking, then they won't bother.

It's not hard to find the cheats forum and see exactly what they can and can't do (and read them whine about bans and resets) ED are already dealing with it. Just report them.

It's the idea that false accusations are more prominent than their counterpart, and regardless of an accusation's accuracy, the act itself will cause much bad reputation for the person in question.

The cheaters are openly discussing hacking their own hull damage to a higher level in order to report clean CMDR's as cheats to FD.

I'd love to know why naming and shaming is not acceptable? I mean, if you can provide evidence...why not shame the loser to the world?
Is it to protect someone's delicate feelings or something? Or just a polite form of weak political correctness?
Urgh.

Its to stop witch hunts and false reports.

You've seen some of the anger directed at people over on reddit? Yeah, well, sometimes it turns out that the suspicion of cheating was misplaced.

Report to FD, let them deal with it calmly and rationally, without people getting out the pitchforks and torches.

I'd also consider it slightly unusual that someone with Beta access would cheat. Actually, I chased someone around for OVER half a match after getting him to 3% hull. Never managed to kill him. I was livid! It was me against three though to be fair. I went 2-0 up amazingly. Then the pressure kicked in. I lost 3-12 I think after the timer ran out.

Then why does FDEV not have a public list of hackers and cheats after all if they have identified the cheater or hacker then surely we should be allowed to know who they are. Name and shame them FDEV for us all to see.
