Oh yes. It gets worse if you have a fever or something, it can take some effort to sort out reality from fevered thoughts.

I'm going to say it involved an Orca with disco lights, 70's era pile carpets (thought police apparently don't like carpets?), brass poles and a zebra striped fedora.

I've had dreams when I'm out exploring where I'd jump into a system with a black hole and hit the damn thing then blow up or something. One time I had a dream where I dropped into a system with a dozen black holes and had to do some insane split-second maneuvers to avoid hitting them (for some reason the brake in supercruise doesn't work in my dreams lmao).

I never have those dreams when I'm in the bubble... or any dreams about Elite, for that matter. I guess I just have a severe fear of black holes lol. Other people have nightmares of being chased by a murderer or a swarm of spiders; I have nightmares of being sucked into an infinitely dense hole in outer space.

I've been dreaming about Elite since 1984. Back then, of course, I was dreaming black-and-white wireframe images.

And now your dreams are all in 3D beige, right?

In the past, I've had dreams of other video games, but oddly (considering the number of hours I've played in the past 2 years) I haven't has any dreams of Elite.

I had my first Elite dream last night. I was out in deep space, exploring. I found a small habitat, not really a colony, an elderly couple living under a dome. I could see them from my ship. When I came up close, the looked like Gru from Despicable Me. They invited me for tea which I happily accepted. But there weren't any minions.

I recently got back from a long exploration trip.
During the trip i would often have dreams of ED. sometimes bad ones.
Now that I'm back not so much.

I often have dreams where the danger of stars is grossly exaggerated.

In said dreams, I often find myself in a perilous position, surrounded by many stars, desperately looking for a way out. I have no idea why.

Well that's weird, I have a recurring dream that is quite similar. I am out in a dense starfield, tens of kylies away from the bubble. There's no FSD, but it doesn't matter because there are stars and planets (mostly inhabited ones) and black holes everywhere, and they're lethal to hit but you can't really see them. The skybox glows brighter than the core because of all the stars and no matter how far I travel, everything just looks the same.

Not yet But back in 84 I used to regularly fall asleep seeing cobra mk iii flying towards me and up. Think I probably over did it a bit back then. Of course I am now older and wiser and limit the time I spend on the game (LIAR!)
