Ship Builds & Load Outs So... how do I remove SRV and Hangar?

I'm refitting my exploration Vulture ship and am trying to switch out the hanger and SRV for a cargo rack to get some stuff to an Engineer.

Can you not sell these or something? [noob]

Never mind... I was looking at the SRV tab instead of the hanger tab. [downcast]

Still kind of funny that you apparently can't sell just the SRVs considering that they're purchased separately.

Its also funny that the SRV's are weightless and the hanger is always as heavy as the full one. (At least it was in 2.0 unless anything changed in 2.1)

Always found this to be a little puzzling. Would have been nice if I could have shed a little dead weight on that marathon return trip after discovering my first earthlike!

Edit: Another thing I found puzzling about SRVs is that they seem to repair themselves when you return to your ship. You can't refuel the things with your fuel reserves but you can repair them?

Well, I guess it explains why those hangars are so heavy.

I always imagined that I had an overworked technician in the hangar bay and everytime I came back he'd be stood there with a disappointed look on his face as he sighs and tweaks the SRV back into working order.

strange that you can fit a 6T hangar into a class 2 compartment wich can only handle 4T of cargo. Even stranger: stick the 2H planetary Hangar there at 12 tons :S

I think simply the hangar equipment and everything in it is heavier than cargo containers you can fit in the same volume.
