So i have this rigth, 1.3 powerplay is out NeXT week, or is it just the full infor about the 1.3 is out NeXT week. someone care to explain im confused.. !

Im out exploring in my ship if so im gonna be hige tailing it back to port asap..

Next week they will reveal what 1.3 will be all about. They will not release it then.

If FD follows their standard M.O. PPs full feature list will be announced next week. Then three weeks till beta tests start. Then a week to two weeks till public release.

The Beta tester seem to point out all the issues, then a list is made and fixes start happening after release.

Depends. 1.1 was not ready, but 1.2 was pretty solid IMO. There will always be more things to fix of course. Especially in a game that is in constant development.

I always prefer complete games to developing ones, but the budget they have won't allow such luxuries.

Each to their own. I like how the game keeps introducing new elements and aspects and being a part of it. The luxury of evolution and improvement.

It'd be better if we had everything from the start instead of getting content in dribs and drabs though.

Unfortunately, this is the way most games are released today. You get a game in development. If the devs are nice, they will release further content as patch / update. If not, it will be called DLC and cost extra.

Funny, I can't imagine buying a game nowadays and knowing 'this is it'.

I suppose I am kinda old school in that I started gaming on a c64 with cassette tapes, but even right up to early 90s, the game you originally bought would not evolve beyond that purchase. Nowadays I expect, and appreciate, an evolving experience.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Have you tried to get the original Elite to work on it? That would be pretty slick.
