So I was watching some Mass Effect: Andromeda footage, and that got me thinking.

The game's main exploratory vessel you use to get from one system to the other, is called the Tempest, and it's absolutely littered with windows. ...One of which, reminded me of the observation deck on the Annie, and that got me thinking... Oh what stunning views we'll have come the day we can actually stand on that observation deck over an ELW, like in the new Mass Effect. Imagine the screenshot potential! :D

You'r right... ship and stations interiors is something i really want to see in the futur of ED.

Just hope i won't get lost in my ship while being interdicted :p

I guess after the avatars we all going to need space legs !

I also suggested the station's bars with panoramics views on the docks or space to watch ships going in and out in real time while having a drink and doing social things (like taunting the pirates xD !).

I'm somehow caught between do I want space legs or not.
This game is very time consuming as it is today, if I can walk around my ship/ Station/ Planets.
Maybe have to meet someone somewhere for a mission.
Imagine how long it'll take then!
But I also like the idea of walking up the stairway of my Cutter, go to the Bridge or meet other CMDR's in a Bar or go to the passenger lounge myself.
But what we are talking here is no longer a Game, it's more like another life to live. And I fear I will get lost there....

The day I land, and take a stroll through the local cantina on some ELW, will be the day that I call Elite as the ultimate (dare I say "perfect"?) game I've been waiting for my whole life.

If we got the option to either take missions from the board or have to walk to meet and greet to pick up missions, I'm walking.
It would be nice to get in to that observation deck.

When that day comes...

I'm waiting for the day that I can watch Nef stroll toward a cantina, and then watch him viciously mugged by people camping the cantina.

And I'll be laying there on the ground, mangled, with a smile on my face.

*siiiigh* "So immersive. :)"

"SHUT UP NOOB! *kick* GIMME YER LUNCH MONEY!"

"Ouchies! ...my space organs."

I hope they are not taking note of MEA, because it is the most boring Mass Effect I've played.

ME Andromeda works perfect for me, just got it today and it had a 2.5gb update ..if Elite ever lets you do the stuff you can in Mass Effect it will be one of the best games ever

I just got ME:A last week, so far I'm having a great time with it. Including the tutorial I'm on the 3rd planet. I'll reserve judgment on the story/plot until after I finish it but as for the characters, I find them just as engaging as in the first trilogy. I love Drack, he constanlty cracks me up, I was instantly in love with Cora too. The core gameplay is better than any game in the original trilogy, hands down.

Allow me to repeat that one more time for emphasis, the core gameplay is better than any game in the original trilogy, hands down. CORE GAMEPLAY should count for something right?

This is what should matter to people the most, 'should' be the operative word in that sentence. The combat is easily the most fluid, and most fun than any previous ME game. And it's being overlooked by, my guess is......jaded gamers who don't know how to have fun any more playing games. So instead of enjoying a good offering, they go make a rant vid on youtube about how they are not going to buy ME:A. because they hate the animations. I haven't seen anything worth boycotting the game over, sure there is a few awkward animations but nothing game breaking that's keeping me from enjoying the game, that's for sure.

My advice is approach the game with an open mind, I feel many of the complaints were way too overblown.

I cannot wait for this to coincide with the Scorpio :)

And what age are you claiming to be acting? You literally add nothing of value to every thread you post in.

Nope, never heard of it. ;)

Ach...really hate mentioning it in the same sentence as ED to be honest....but I'm finding I'm spending more and more time on it the further it gets into development...
