I've got my Reverb G2 on order and will be grabbing a new GPU as soon as the next lot come out. I'm very much looking forward to MS Flight Sim. Unfortunately I don't have the same level of anticipation for Odyssey, but I am hoping that will change as we learn more.

Just how big is Microsoft's development team for their new FS - and was the development paid for by a previous game or two?
Frontier are a tiny studio in comparison to both resorces and finance - perhaps they should get in bed with, say, Facebook, to produce content - just to level the playing field a little... Of course, should they do that then VR (for Oculus HMD's at least) in all future releases is virtually guaranteed

A lot of the tech used in MFS is provided by Bing Maps and Azure. Both created by MS. If anything, MFS is the gaming showcase for 'Power of the Cloud'/Azure.

I'd settle for MSFS traffic, and I'm not talking about the lame "forever looping" cars in stations. Rumor was we were going to see NPC SRVs driving around and between planetary outposts, and I think that would add a lot of life to the game. Add a proper ground crew like the new MSFS has, and I'd be very happy indeed! As for elephants, I've had enough elephant leather in Elite Dangerous to last me an eternity!

Not sure what you are saying with the rest of the post though. I assume you are saying you feel I've never criticised Elite / Frontier?
There have been occasions when he has acted as a focus towards FD of complaints about game quality from the players, that appear to have shamed FD publicly and spurred them to respond faster than they might otherwise have done had they not had this kind of public prodding. I can't think of specific examples just now, except that beige planets come to mind.
I'm honestly so excited about the new Flight Simulator that I don't even care anymore about Frontier's dev diaries coming out "soon". By the time Frontier says anything I'll be too busy flying around exploring the virtual Earth!

Not at all. I'm not sure how you got that negative from my post. I and may others love your videos but they are always the same great graphics while you talk about a certain subject. You don't even need the graphics and could post comments on the Forum. But not your style and probably more effective with videos.Glad you like the videos.

I get it. When I post on the Forum I usually add a great ED picture to accent my comments and get a response. Without them who cares just reading text?
For example here are two great great Imperial Courier pictures. Depending upon the thread I might go with a build, racer or explorer. The point is a graphic accents the text just like your videos accent your comments.
So keep doing what you do. It works and like that Emerald City in Oz we will always smile looking at them.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 costing up to $200.00 and you get ten planes. No doubt Microsoft has been seriously looking at X-plane 10/11 and came up with some changes. Meanwhile X-Plane dominates the world in aircraft flight simulation with thousands of 3rd party vendors supporting it. The MS FS 2020 will take awhile to catch up.
Here's my latest purchase and video on X-Plane 11 with the Embarer ERJ Family jets from a cold start.There are thousands of videos with every aircraft and every custom airport around the world. MS has a lot of ground to make up

X-Plane is a bunch of programmers putting pilots in real aircraft with real situations then dialing it in including fly-in meetings. X-plane has nailed aircraft flight simulation including FAA approval for flight school training while Microsoft quit supporting their simulator for 20 years. Let's see what Microsoft comes up with.

I've got X-Plane. It's good as a simulator, but the graphics don't compare. Flight Simulator 2020 is £15 per month if you get the Gamepass Ultimate, and with that you get hundreds of other games too.
For X-Plane the plane and airport mods need to be bought, so they are extra. And still the graphics don't get anywhere close. My local airfield is a joke (a £20 joke too
).I've got no problems with X-Plane. I've spent hours playing it. But there really is no contest between it and MS Flight Sim.
