So let me get this straight...

Interesting though. Idk how it is on Xbox but on ps4, once I log in using a Hoyas I have to fully log out and back in with a controller to use a controller. Perhaps that's something they have addressed, but really I doubt it. It seems like one of those things they would be completely unaware of with no intention to fix
I hope for you guys FD address this and TBH I think they will. I have oft wondered actually why FD don't allow consolers to use the 2nd control pad as an optional extra. I would say most console gamers have 2 pads (not all btw I only have 1xPS4 pad) but as s an option for anyone who does have ,2 pads why not allow players to use both? It's not like ED will ever offer 2 player split screen.

Honestly, I couldn't care less if FD handwaves artificial gravity onto ships.
I just want a good game to be made.
It is a design choice and for me not about enjoyment (well of course it is ultimately) but my point is full on gravity less movement using small jets on our suits could be really good fun AND be a way of separating the 1st person on foot action from other games
Imo IF FD tried to go head to head against COD or BF it won't do well. There are umpteen really polished 1st person games that use gravity but only a handful which do EVA / gravity less parts. (And a few which do both like DOOM for instance) .

Could be a limitation on hardware or OS.

I am no programmer so I guess so. But thinking logically am just not sure what it could be.
I have played quiz games where both control pads essentially are active at the same time and interact with the same systems ....
